Our family, two humans and two pups have enjoyed this park twice and we love it! The staff couldn't be more accommodating and kind. The restrooms are clean. The chapel and western hall reminds of the old west days. Lots of pecan trees surround many sites, mini pony pasture, and two dog parks. There is great fishing too! A quiet, beautiful paradise. It's easy to navigate, we have a 34' pull behind, and the site roads are wide enough also. Book your camping trip here, you won't regret it!

My initial impression was run down, even though family and friends we were with had talked the place up prior to arrival, which is why we were there. It’s definitely more long term rv occupants than short term vacation occupants. Lots of stickers in the “grass” areas which were all more weeds or dirt than grass. Pool was only nice thing, but pool house bathroom and pool area overall left much to be desired. Dog area as shown on map given and on website is apparently no longer the dog park (just looked like a junk yard). Dog area as now signed at the park is old horse pasture, as shown on the map, and was full of stickers. Not sure why anyone would use the chapel as it looks rundown and surrounded by junk. And there was a weird ghost town looking set up, which is I guess for events? But again, looks rundown. Just overall very run down and unwelcoming. Got 3 stars for how quiet it was, which was nice, and the pool. We left a day early.

We were there for the Texas Tiny Camper Rally. Lisa, Miss Patty and Mr. Ken are very nice. We were having problems with our fridge and Lisa offered to us a fridge to put our food if needed. And we have a Jeep that we love to take the doors off when the weather allows. Lisa offered us a place to put them. Beautiful views and we love to walk. Lisa told us of a road behind the campground that we could walk. Definitely would stay there again. You are missing out if you don't!
