Lovely campground. Three sections, one of them being first come first serve. Nice and clean toilets with toilet paper and soap. There’s even a sink with hot water. Also plenty of drinking water. Great experience!

Nice reservable campground with lots of sires and a great base for exploring Bandelier. Large and well planned sites, but make sure you try to find a spot with some shade if camping in the warmer months!

Nice place to camp. Neighbors were on top of me because they put their RV off their site onto the dirt even though the "rules" say it's not allowed. Claims to be a dark sky park but bathroom lights are blazing all night. Camp host is nice but not sure what she does other than socialize. Doesn't enforce the rules or clean the bathrooms. Tried to buy an interagency annual pass but entrance booth was closed and was told at the visitor center that the fee ranger wasn't available.

It’s a nice campground with plenty of sites that are reservable or first come first serve. Hiking trails start out of the campground and one leads down to the Bandelier visitor’s center. There is shuttle bus service that will take you there also. I stayed two weeks in a first come first serve site. The site are small and not very level with the road very narrow. I had a hard time getting set up with a 38 foot camper and had to park my truck elsewhere. I still gave it 5 stars because of the location

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid-May 2024, using it as a base for exploring Bandelier National Monument and the surrounding area. Our site was near one the restroom with running (cold) water. There is a sink conveniently located outside the restroom for dish washing. The restroom is well-stocked and clean. We had originally reserved site #20 but could not use it as it the driveway was too much of a slope for our camper-van, so we moved to site #12 in the non-reservable section. With daytime temperatures in the mid-70°s and low-50°s in the morning, it was a pleasant time of the year to stay here. We hiked the easy, 1-1/2 mile Frijoles Canyon overlook trail loop from the campground, providing a scenic view this area of the park. Highly recommended!

Camp sites are close together so not a place to go if your looking for solitude. Bathrooms where very clean and area is beautiful. Road getting there is not for people afraid of heights.

Lovely camp grounds. Not at all crowded Memorial Day weekend. We just showed up and had many available sites to choose.

Just got back from here. Place is super chill. A little dusty, but I guess that's expected in the desert ;)
