Great experience. A couple of reviewers mentioned the campground being loud, but my experience was the exact opposite - the place was completely quiet both nights by 9:00pm. Just the sounds of nature. They are strict on firewood, but they have self-serve quality wood at reasonable prices. A $6 bundle lasted two hours for me. The campers are mostly seasonals, but I felt very welcome as a weekender. Nice site on the beach, friendly staff, and clean bathrooms.

This is a beautiful campground! However I probably won't return. I'm an average size person and I couldn't stand in the shower without a part of my body touching the shower curtain it was so small. The sound ordinance also isn't enforced. I could hear the people across the lake talking and having a good time till 6am. I feel like it shouldn't have been allowed to get to that point. If I heard it all the way on the other side of the lake im sure close neighbors were annoyed as well. They did let me hook my cooler up and charge it at the main office though and that was appreciated since my site had no hookup.

Nice lake, camping spots are kind of small and close together. General store has basics but not a lot. Toilets were not very clean and most of the place was filled with seasonal campers that were only there on weekends. Nothing going on but website said events every week. Bundles of wood were expensive. I was told that after campers left, if wood was left, it was gathered and resold. Some campers gave us their wood when they left to avoid this happening.

Beautiful sites by the lake! Beach is great and the sandbar is fun! However, management is a little too laid back. There was group of campers blasting music and Karaoke night across the lake late into the night. Hard to enjoy the campfire with hooting and hollering on the mic all night long from across that lake.

Very disappointed that they helped did not understand or know what kind of electricity we needed for our camper. They put us on a 110. We needed 130. We had to leave. We couldn't even camp there. When my husband tested it, it was reverse polarity. When you take a reservation, you should know what camper fits wear..
