Living Michigan
Place is a joke, 30+ years of experience is the bigger joke here. You can't camp here if your vehicle is modified in anyway, shape or form. You'd think in his 30+ years he would have embraced the car culture the Michigan offers, especially with race tracks nearby. Not a campground so much as it's a circus 🤡

Terrible experience from start to finish. The staff was rude, unprofessional, and completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend. Instead of making guests feel welcome, they go out of their way to make you feel unwelcome. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, enjoyable stay.

Owner is very rude, doesn't listen at all! Rude to women! Five miles from a dragway, and told you couldn't stay there because you're in a racecar. Pull up in a four door sedan, pulling a small trailer, a motorcycle could pull this trailer, and being told you can't stay here because you're in a racecar! Racecars come on a trailer, you don't drive hundreds of miles! Learn what the definition of a racecar actually is!

This place is the biggest joke I’ve ever been to. The water smells like rotten eggs. The staff is so rude and unprofessional they don’t know how to treat customers with respect at all. the bathroom is on a 9am to 7pm lockdown like we’re in some kind of prison if your single person or a working class person that doesn’t even want to have any kind of fun and you enjoy feeling like you’re in confinement this is a great place to stay. Worst experience of my life😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

If you want the basic of basics, this is the place for you. It's not for me, it costs too much to not have anything to do and a page full of rules. There is absolutely nothing to do here. The pond is half dry and we were told it's leeches in it, small basic playground, no activities, no band, the bathrooms close at 7p.m. and do not open up until 9a.m. The woman that runs it is aggressive and overbearing. I know they have to protect their interests but she was a little much for me. They are very particular about their gate and how you back up into the sites. There are trees but calling it wooded is a stretch. This is the 1st privately owned campground I've been to so maybe I'm just spoiled by state parks.
