Mike Turner was amazing. When my vehicle broke down in East Saint Louis, he was amazing at offering suggestions. He even referred me to a local mechanic (Ernie) who was able to diagnose the issue and repair the vehicle. Since I was stranded without a vehicle, Mike drove me around as needed to get food, cash, etc. in exchange for some gas money. Ultimately he even drove me to the airport for my trip back home. I love the small town support between Mike and Ernie. I reminds me of the small town I grew up in.

The proprietor makes customer satisfaction a priority and will go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. K-River motel is not a party spot, the rooms are clean with refridgerator, microwave and directTV. Coffee makers are available upon request housekeeping runs every day except Sunday around 9:00am and is available in the evenings to accommodate day sleepers upon request. The campground is behind the motel and receives no through traffic and is also not a party spot. Tents are not allowed but K-River campground can accommodate campers and RVs of any size and every lot has water, sewer and accessibility to 110v 30 amp and 50 amp electricity. the grounds are very well kept with plenty of trees in the campground for shade in the summer along with accessibility to picnic tables and bagged ice is available on site at $1.50 for a 10 lb bag. both the motel and the campground have daily, weekly and monthly rates available

Mike called after we made the reservation and let me know my check for the deposit arrived. He called on day of arrival so he’d be there when we checked in and with advice how to get there the best route (through St. Louis). Nice and quiet campground which was nice after being at the American Grand where it was noisy. Good location for us.

What an excellent campground. Very clean, quiet and we felt safe. Mike is the go to man with any problem. Our a/c went out and it was 113 degrees with the humidity. Mike called someone who had us cooling within 90 minutes. Mike is very accommodating and understanding. If we go back that way, we will definitely stay here.

RV camped with full hookups (electric/water/sewer) with picnic table and lovely willow trees. Owner was friendly and helpful.
