Great Boondocking campground. Clean, quiet and great location. Beautiful trees and good space between sites. Great trail in the campground. Right across the street from Jacob Lake Inn, with the Best cookies anywhere. Also the Forest visitors Center is right next door to the Inn and it is great but very limited hours. More hummingbirds than you can count at the visitors center. Hosts were great and toilets were very clean and no smell inside.

Don’t get out of your car unless you plan to pay. We just drove through to check it out and to use the restroom. The campground host pulled behind our car and made us pay $8 because we used the restroom.

We enjoy camping here every summer. There's nice tree cover, and it's close to the General Store. The campsites are generous and easy to navigate. Please note that even though there's no dump station at the campground, you can go down the road to the Kaibab Camper Village and pay to dump there.

Stayed here in Oct. 2025 and everything is open! We even got one of the camp host spots when they didnt return after evacuating for the fire. The vault toilets on site are spotless and there is potable water for filling if needed. The Jacob Lake Inn & Restaurant is right across the street and is DELICIOUS! Get the pot pie and some cookies while youre here. We were able to drive to all of the lookouts on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

Beautiful spot, easy to get to. $30 a night was a little rough to stomach for what was offered. I think we saw a camp host but they never introduced themselves.
