It was a perfect location for me. About 45 min from south Seattle and the Puyallup Fairgrounds. No mobile access for me except in specific spots of satellite texts service. Overall, when I was there, it was a quiet peaceful park. A few trails. Entertaining and educational experience watching salmon migrate up the Green River. Tried to get some pics.

Super nice campground, each campsite has room for at least 2 cars and 3-4 tents. Has a bench and fire-pit. There is also enough foliage to separate each campsite so you don't feel like you can see each other's campground. Reservations are made online and I had to buy a discovery pass so I did it in person at the office because my local Walmart printer was down. The bathroom has showers with hot water from 6am-10pm

Went on a pretty hot day and there’s was a lot of shade available near the water. The area closest to the parking lot gets busy with lots o’ kids during summer so if you want a more chill experience you may need to walk the trail a bit that runs along the river. Also, witnessed someone almost drowning so if you can’t swim..maybe a life jacket would work as the current was fast.

Very lush park along Green River. There are some pretty views of the river from a trail along the riverbank. The trail is rough in a couple places, sturdy boots and hiking pole would be helpful but not absolutely necessary. There is a decent campground with fair privacy.

This is for the area by the river, easy access minutes from the parking lot. Lots of picnic tables and grills, with trails to the river. Very nice clear river, last time I was here the tide was low and there were fish everywhere that you could literally touch them. Too bad I don’t remember when that was, I was hoping it was today but it wasn’t. 😭 I wanted salmon so bad today, Oh well. Maybe next time.
