Very nice campground, peaceful and relaxing fall atmosphere.

While it mostly caters to seasonal campers, a welcoming place to someone like me looking for just a couple of days.

Decent campground. Some low hanging branches make moving a big rig or a tall rig challenging. Others frenidly helpful staff.

We were placed on a cancellation list and received a call that a cabin was available, my family and I were very excited and replanned our whole weekend for this trip. My family travels from 2 hours both ways and at 4 in the AFTERNOON we received a call that our cabin was “mistakenly” double booked. The reason they provided made absolutely no sense to why they would only be calling us about this at 4 in the afternoon. They offered us Saturday night free but if it was booked why would the people only be staying in a 10 person cabin for one night? Needless to say they will not be getting our business again. We paid in full, very unprofessional and unorganized!

If you like hiking this is not the campground. To get to decent trails is all off road logging roads. The park is nice, busy, and they are good people here with lots of schedules activities.
