I've lived in this area for nearly 40 years. This is the first time I've been here. I have been missing out on a hidden gem. From check in tocheck out, the service was top notch. We arrived at little late, after 6:30 pm. I had trouble paying with my card and the desk clerk was fabulous. She was patient and considerate of my frustration. I finally got it all sorted out, she gave us directions to the restaurant near by. Our room was clean, comfortable and most importantly, it was quiet. After dinner we took our luggage into our room and we did some exploring in the hotel. I love this place. It has a game room,a very nice gift shop/ pantry.a dinning room where we had a very nice breakfast.Beautiful views of the lake.(when its light out 😁). Our room had a coffee pot, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The bathroom has the most luxurious bath towels I've ever seen in hotel. Even had a towel for make up remover. The water was hot and lasted long enough for both myself and my granddaughter to has shower and a bath. I can't say enough about this hotel. The staff are fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, the food was delicious. The views are just beautiful 100% recommend them.

It was nice and quite cabin in the woods. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. The cabins are older but clean, some cosmetic issues but nothing that would keep me from staying there again. Has a full kitchen which was great.

Great location for Land Between the Lakes. Staff was friendly. BUT, when we saw a mouse in our room at the lodge, no one seemed concerned. Staff said it was normal because we were in the woods. I live in the woods too and I don't have mice. Some may be fine with this, but I was not. Rodents carry diseases. I think a facility that cooks food and houses guests should have a pest control service taking care of this issue.

This is beautiful property with gorgeous views of the lake. It is outdated in terms of look & design but is clean. The walls are thin, so if you are a light sleeper, this may be an issue. The breakfast in the morning is made upon order. Overall was a good experience.

Great place! Good food in the restaurant. Fair prices. Only negative is you will see mice in the cottages. The cottages are in the woods near the lake. Still highly recommend this resort. Cottages are fully stocked with everything for cooking and meals. Lodge is excellent.
