I came here a few months ago with some close friends, not realizing the nightmare we were walking into. The camp staff, mostly made up of the owner’s family, put on fake smiles and acted polite at first, but it didn’t take long for their true colors to show. Later that night, while we were in the camper we all shared, we heard one of the main owners—the mother, who seems to run the place like her personal kingdom—driving by. She was on the phone, loudly talking about us, mocking the “new arrivals” and calling us “stupid,” completely ignoring the fact that our camper was right there. These people are the definition of two-faced. To your face, they’ll pretend to be welcoming and kind, but the moment you turn your back, they tear into everyone with disgusting arrogance. It’s honestly disturbing how fake and mean-spirited they are beneath their friendly act.

My three nights at Kenolie Village in May 2025 were terrific! It was easy to book my camp site in advance, the site was more spacious than I expected, the port-a-potty was convenient and clean. The registration person was very hospitable - friendly and helpful at check-in when I arrived, the shower amenity was perfect, and the walking paths were a great way to see more of the campground. The forested view is lovely, and the campground is conveniently located in Newfane, VT. The price was just right, and the campground store has plenty of food, beverages and other necessities. I highly recommend Kenolie Village as a safe, affordable, spacious, friendly and beautiful campsite.
