Arrived after dark, not a good idea for someone new at backing up a camper. But found a helpful neighbor who did it for me, thanking him so much! Woke up in the morning to an absolutely gorgeous Campground. This was just a quick overnight stay as I was traveling south. But I considered staying an extra night because it was so beautiful. Since my site was rented that evening I moved on. But I would highly recommend staying here for at least a few days. I had water and electric, they are dog friendly, had nice, clean, level, area for camper, picnic table and campfire. Oh, and a pole for hanging a lantern. Loads and loads of trees, space between neighbors was nice too.

Beautiful camping area, bring a fishing pole, kayak. We'll kept area, clean bathrooms and shower house and unbelievable beautiful scenery. Research the area for the best camp site. Some are on a slope and close to other campers while other sites have more space and flat ground. Every site has a picnic table, fire pit and a water faucet near every site. Staff is wonderful.

A very nice place to camp or take your RV. The lakeside camping areas are really outstanding and very clean. The view of the lake is magnificent. I highly recommend this camping area.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kerr Lake State Rec - Nutbush Area 1! The pictures on the site weren't accurate to the site itself because there was alot more beach in the picture but we enjoyed ourselves. The Park Rangers are very present. The campground isn't huge, and there are some sites right on the water. The bathhouse is what it is. Nothing great - hot water and a place to wash off. The lake was beautiful. There is a park over in another section of the campground but not in Area 1. I think it was Area 3.

Henderson Point Campground. Amazing campground. Very peaceful. Stayed in the beginning of May. Bring a long hose, or bring 3. Water connections around site 40 are very far from the RV parking area. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!
