Rooms are renovated but still not great. Dial soap for shampoo and conditioner?!?! Why put money and effort into new rooms. Restaurants were closed by 7 pm where are you supposed to have dinner all staff whether it was at players club on the casino floor or at the deli was rude or agreed that the place is going down hill and had nothing positive to say about the resort. We come here on bus trips and the last two times we stayed in brimley instead of here and now I see why. Even with renovations do not recommend based on staff and hours of operations unless you plan on being in bed by 6 pm. Also no one was seen besides people on our bus.

Joke of a hotel. The rooms smelled like a skunk. The temperature jumped from boiling hot to freezing cold back to boiling hot all over the hotel. The hotel security is plain rude. The tv didn't work and the beds were so uncomfortable. If you plan on visiting the pool while here bring a personal ac unit, they have the heat so high its a lawsuit waiting to happen. There is 1 person working the front desk, they are barely there when you need help. The midnight check in crew was disgustingly nasty. There is no daily towel refresh or cleanup. Would give zero stars if possible.

We stayed here September 27th Very clean rooms and awesome customer service — the front desk staff were fantastic! Loved the hotel and definitely plan to stay again, next time for longer. It was just a short drive into the U.S., not far from the border. Interestingly, hotels on the Canadian side in the Soo were more expensive and didn’t have nearly as many amenities or updates. Great value and experience overall! 5+ stars (massive applause for the front desk staff, super lovely ladies and customer service- as well as the valet, we didn’t use them but I witnessed several times very friendly and helpful interactions) love love love!

The casino is under a much needed remodel. It will be nice when finished. Clean inside and nice atmosphere. Husband won. I did not, but it was a fun afternoon. Good luck if you go.

The hotel room we stayed in was so old and dated. The light quit working in the bathroom a day after checking in. The amount of noise in the walls due to the water pipes was almost unbearable at night. The flooring was "spongy" not sure what the carpeting was covering up. They need to consider removing all of these old rooms or remodeling them after they other part of the hotel casino is finished being renovated. The casino and staff were great

Spent from 05/06-05/09 2025, a little getaway with my husband. The remodel is looking good. I like having a microwave and fridge in the room. Bathroom seems bigger and like the shower but turning it on before getting in, Nope! Like the lounging area with the chairs but need ottoman or larger table. I feel like I nagging, but where we live we do not have internet, so the TV set up was a pain in the backside. Directions would be nice also when making a reservation letting us know if something is not working like the hot tub. We had a wonderful time! We had several of the staff at check in and Hannah when I made our reservation where just wonderful. Our kids always give this getaway to us every year so they know we have a just us weekend! Thank you!

The room was amazing & staff very friendly. Nice to have a view of your car overnight. Shower was a notable great experience; water pressure was great. Clean.

Beautiful and very comfortable casino and hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean, prices reasonable. So much going on there and so gorgeous interior, feels like you're at a big indoor resort rather than just a little casino in the U.P. It was so nice there, I didn't want to leave. Went for just one night, but just one night wasn't enough! Wish they would get live Keno back and the Royal Ascot horse racing game that they had last time I visited there MANY YEARS ago! That would be fun! My favorite games! 😃

It was a Great place to stay! 😀 I really enjoyed the Casino. That wolf and Dragon games near the VIP office Were the Best! 3 areas of Slots. 🎰(1 small and 2 big areas) Also Enjoyed the Kewadin trail Deli Great sandwiches, 🥪Pizza🍕And More! Stayed in one of the Newly renovated Hotel rooms. New carpet, New Beds, Bathroom With Walk in shower. 🚿 Dimmable LED light built on Mirror, 🪞 USB and USB-C ports built in furniture and bed frames. Pool was at a Good temperature. (Feels a little cool at first but you will quickly get used to it) Hot tub and Sauna were Great! (You can pour water on Sauna Heater!) Some of the Elevators are Closed. (for Computer and interior upgrades. They were Otis series 1 elevators) Interior of Hotel East wing is still getting remodeled (It is blocked off) and North wing remodeling is just about Complete. (Still some of the old carpet is left between the hotel wings from the 2nd to 6th floors) But here are a couple of downsides I noticed. (Which is why I removed 2 stars) 1. Some of the Equipment in fitness room is Broken, (What looks like Broken cables on the weight machines and Blink Screens on some of the elliptical) And 2. No More Hotel Arcade games near the pool behind the elevator! 😕

We had a LOT of fun here. So many games to choose from. The outside of the casino itself looks a little bland, but inside it took on a whole new vibe. Great non smoking area too. I loved the tribal history museum in the hallways too. If you're in the area stop in! Close to the interstate too.
