We went camping this September, stayed in bay 12. It was great. We were the o ly ones in the bay, the kids could run and play. The lots are all grass, so really great for tenting. Will go back more next season!

Our first first camping experience in Manitoba was here. We loved everything about this campground, including the lovely trails between campsites, the spaciousness of the campsites themselves, and cleanliness of the bathrooms. Camping here was the highlight of our trip. It's very close to some beautiful hiking/walking trails like Spirit Sands.

Great family and friends get-together, it has a small beach, volleyball court, place to grab and go eat such as ice cream, french fries and hamburgers. There's couple of kids play structure, nice hiking area, designated washroom and coin operated showers.

Absolutely loved this campground! Check in for our online reservation was super easy, and the ladies at the office were so friendly, helpful, and kind! We stopped at the gift shop at the visitors center and they have a great selection, and lots of handmade local items in there too. If you have bikes there is a ton of trails to explore all over the campground and the Trans Canada Trail goes through there , and takes you some awesome viewpoints not far from the campground. The dark sky area was great too, so many stars. Also, the Spirit Sands were just a 2 minute bike ride away, and was a magical walk at sunset. We will definitely return here if we are in the area! My only complaint was the coin operated showers, were a little dirty feeling. But everything else was top notch.

I've been camping here since I was a little girl, and have always loved it. One star lost because we pay for firewood now, which is fine, but it was hard knotty pine and expensive. I highly recommend bringing wood. Pet friendly, sanded campsites, an excellent beach and friendly campers are all definitely good points. Plus there are plenty of activities available such as canoe and paddle boat rentals, mini golf and several hiking trails. There are also day use areas as well.

Our site was nice enough (albeit very dusty), but poison ivy is literally everywhere, so it's not a great place for kids or dogs. Also, the showers we visited (Bays 3, 4, and 8) were all disgusting and some didn't work.

Had a very good time / experience. Campsite was great size for our trailer with plenty of room for the picnic table and firepit areas. Our site was closer to the highway than some (so road noise at night was sometimes an issue) but this would not be the case with most other sites in the campground. Our "loop" of campsites had a decent amount of space and bushes /trees between sites offering good privacy between sites and a decent amount of "shade" during most of the day. Very nice sandy beach, nice hiking trails and the buildings we encountered for washrooms and showers were fairly clean and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back at some point in the future.

Great campground !! Very well kept and staff are very helpful and pleasant. Lots to do here. Bring a bike or be prepared to do alot of walking as it is a big park. Watch out for poison ivy off the paths and roads. Nuff said !!

I have always loved this place. From camping here as a child to bringing my kids and grand kids here. Never disappointed. The beach is nice and the water warm and sandy. I can't wait to return!
