My kids have the best time of their life here. Very clean and affordable. We usually go during the week bc the weekends get a little crowded. So much better than it was decades ago

The site wasn’t horrible, though it’s a round drive so it wasn’t the friendliest with two big trees in our lot, but not bad thankfully since we had a small camper. The ground is all sandy though and there are huge beetles. The fishing is really nice but the lake was covered in algae. The host family just looked when we drove by but never said hello or waved. There was a friendly woman cleaning the bathroom that said she was a host, but wasn’t the same one at loop c site, so idk if they have multiple hosts here or not. The fire wood they sell at the camp store is pine. It was sappy and burned soo fast! The bait was all slimy and all the worms were dead.

Nice campground, lots of things for kids. They have a playground, a large field with a baseball backstop, a sand volleyball court and good bike riding too. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. The hike around the pond was nice and they have paddle boats and I saw people with Kayaks. I enjoyed the campground.

The good: very peaceful at night and they offer discounts on the Passport America list. The bad: the price is still high for what they offer. The single shower house has not very warm push button showers. The ugly: camp hosts were not friendly at all! No waving, even when we waved at them. No Hello, No smiles, just a complete lack of hospitality or warmth. Also, someone opened our trailer door while here, but we think they were just inebriated and it was an error.
