Review of the campground: Overall this was a nice park. The staff members really cared about the campers and kept the facilities clean. Be mindful booking a site as many require lots of leveling blocks.

We went camping here a few times this year. Every year our family picks. A new camping spot and we all gather a few weekends out the year to stay connected. We had A LOT of fun here at Kincaid lake. We reserve the lower primitive area 27-32. We met a few new people along the way. ❣️ Kincaid has a well stocked lake and all night we were catching large cat fish. There's a bathhouse at the top of the hill and only about a .25 mile walk. They have lots of trails to hike, putt-putt and a golf course. They also have some Cache, that is if you're not a 'muggle'. **Our only CONCERN was the amount of small children on golf carts, it's especially dangerous at night when parents are "relaxing" and they're driving the wrong way on the car paths. Everything else was amazing. Just don't wanna see a kiddo hurt. ❣️ 10/10 recommend.

Gosh, I loved this state park! There is so much to do here right on site. Mini golf, swimming pool, kayaks/boats, a challenging 9 hole golf course, equipment rental for things like basketball and corn hole, fishing (can rent a pole in the shop on site), and 3 different playgrounds. The boat ramp is temporarily closed because of the recent flooding that caused damage to it. So right now, all that is available to rent are the kayaks. If you have your own boat, you can still launch it there, though. The host was one of the best parts about our stay! I'm so sorry I don't remember her name, but her kindness and smile won't be forgotten. She would give rides on her golf cart to your site if you didn't want to walk the whole way. They had a text message system where you could tell them you needed wood or ice and they would bring it to you, and all you have to do is pay her as she drops it off. There was a disturbance by a camper on one of the nights, and she brilliantly took care of it with the state police and made sure the campground was safe. Kudos to the state police for being so efficient while staying fairly quiet to not disturb campers who were all ready asleep. The shower house!!! Omg! The hot water was AMAZING, and they kept the building warm too. I've never been to a campground with hot water before. Plus, it was always very clean as well. Oh, and there are washing machines on site. I could write on and on and will more than likely be back even though I live in Illinois. Thank you to the wonderful staff!!

Nice park. Campsites are hit and miss for being levle, so come prepared. Water on site is nice so you don't have to tow that extra weight with you. Great park overall lots of activities for kids all over. Will definitely be back

Very nice hiking trails, gorgeous forested areas crossing over a stream and back. Some uphill areas but not strenuous. Lovely lake area with views of high ridges. Small marina and nice looking golf course. This is a hidden gem of a park and worth the trek to get there!
