Amazing! Such a beautiful campground in a beautiful location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is just down the road from Peggy's Cove so it was nice to be able to get to Peggy's Cove early before the crowds.

This a gem of a campground. It is right on the ocean and while it has only basic features, more layer, its location is awesome. We’ve seen whales popping up right in front of our tent. Being close to Peggy’s Cove is also a big plus. The only small comment I would have is that the shower and bathroom building is a bit outdated and the toilets are seriously low and hard for some people to get up from.

We are travelling across Canada from BC and while at a campground in Digby, our neighbour told us about King Neptune Campground as we were planning on visiting Peggy’s Cove. It was a fantastic experience. We could only stay two nights but would have stayed longer if we could. Right from the start at check-in, Paul was super friendly and walked with us through the site as he had two options for us. The campground is right on the ocean and it was beautiful and very peaceful. We certainly recommend King Neptune Campground.

Family run site. Freindly staff, washrooms are well kept and clean. Close to Peggy's Cove and a well stocked store The Whale's Back has everything you need 2min down the road. Paul The owner is very approachable and has a wealth of local knowledge. I would recommend this site to anyone wanting to experience rural Nova Scotia. About a 40 min drive from Halifax.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Joyce and Paul were the consummate hosts, attentive to details and maintaining a well oiled and superbly kept campground. The facilities were clean and well-serviced. The showers were hot!!! We arrived in the afternoon and visited Peggy’s Cove in the late afternoon and were shocked at the number of tourists and tour buses. Because of the close proximity to Peggy’s Cove, we used the opportunity to scope out the sites and landscape and were able to rise at 8am and head directly to the site before tourists arrived and we had amazing photos. My wife and I camped on the waterfront at site 56 and enjoyed and amazing sunset over the bay. Please check this beauty of a campsite out!!!

About 4 years ago me and a group of friends were driving all the way from Ontario to stay the night. The AMAZING staff was up to greet us and show us our lot even though we arrived quite a bit passed the closing time. An absolutely amazing view at an extremely affordable price. 10/10 on everything and I can't wait to go back.

I loved the camping. The bathroom was super clean, the place had the most amazing view. The owners were lovely. I have nothing bad to say about the place.

So excellent. An older campground but well maintained. If you go there ask for Site 55. It overlooks the ocean and there are wonderful sunsets.

Very close to Peggy's Cove and the owners are awesome. It's a no frills campground with a great view! Book the sites backing onto the water.
