Nice place. Only problem waa the sight of overflowing dumpsters all week. We were there 8 days in near 100 degree temps and the trash never got picked up. The stench would gag you.

My husband and I have been staying in Lake George for about 10 years but have never stayed at King Phillips campground until this past weekend. It was fantastic! We rented out the cabin and it was better than we expected. Newly renovated. Clean and spacious. Outdoor yard with little fireplace was perfect. Pool was a nice temperature and clean. Location to downtown lake george was great. Only a few minutes drive. Paved woodsy bike paths that lead right into town if u want to bike it. Janet the property manager was thee most helpful and accommodating. There is nothing I would change about our stay. Perfect experience. Can't wait to go stay there again next summer! Highly recommend!

Nice clean campground close to all attractions. Trolley stop is just outside the main gate. Only thing (MAJOR THING) that didn’t sit well was the large amount of dead trees and dead tree limbs throughout the campground. The staff is fully aware of all the dead limbs and when I informed the maintenance man of the massive dead tree hanging over my trailer, his advice was “don’t look up!” This kind of neglect will cause major damage or could even kill someone. Their computer system is out of whack as well. They sent a worker to my site asking why I was still there mid stay when someone else needed to check in at my site. I showed him my paperwork and they realized I was right. Horrible system! I probably won’t return because of all this. BEWARE!

This campground is about 2.5 miles from Lake George center. Right from booking the site, to check-in, to having an issue that I needed help with regarding my camper, their staff was curiosity, kind, and professional. The site Im on is spacious and level. The camp ground is well maintained, extremely quite and peaceful. The playground is huge and the pool was very clean. Highly recommend this place.

First time camping here and we enjoyed it. Campground is very nice, bathrooms are clean. Our site was a little small but we made it work. Pool looked beautiful but unfortunately we didn't get to use it due to the weather. All in all, we had a great time. Very laid back place, ladies in the store were very nice, and it was super close to lake george village which was nice since it rained and we were able to enjoy some other attractions nearby. Definitely will come back!

We had scheduled 2 nights at King Phillips on our way home from Maine. Unfortunately we suffered a breakdown and had to cancel both nights. I called to cancel the day of arrival, fully aware that I would forfeit the deposit share of my payment. When I called, the person at the desk said the manager would return my call. He never did and I had to call him later the next day. He said the deposit share of my payment was $80 out of my full payment of $110. Ok no problem $30 is better than nothing. However, I have not seen anything back on my card. Need to amend this review. I did then receive the 30$ reimbursement from King Phillips.

We will never stay here again! We paid for a 50 amp site weeks ago. When we arrived we went to our site and only had 30 amp. My husband walked to the office and was told they would get someone out there to fix it. We waited an hour without hooking up our sewer to make sure we wouldn’t need to move. We then called and waited an hour. We then walked to the office again and was told it had been looked at and could not be fixed. This was an existing problem the office knew about but still put us in that spot without telling us and charged us the 50 amp amount. We should have been moved to a different site. The office employee was very rude when I tried to explain. Don’t stay here!

We found this campground by accident and couldn't be happier. We ended up staying for the summer as it is perfectly located, quiet, and well managed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The ground are beautifully kept and the bathroom/showers are clean with excellent water temperature and pressure. We had such a great experience we are booked for season 2022. Can't wait to return. Thanks for a great summer.

Father’s Day weekend 2021, This is a quiet campground. All our camping neighbors were all very polite and respectful. Even the people walking their dogs. The restrooms, showers and the RV site were all very well maintained. When we were packing up our travel trailer an employee stopped by to ask how our stay was. I would recommend taking the bike path that goes right in front of the campground it takes you right to the beach. The other direction takes you thru a wooden area. It’s a really fun trail since it’s completely paved. We all had a nice time here taking our bikes.
