Kingman KOA Journey
WE ARE OPEN. Please read the message below. Enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment and great weather year-round.
First and foremost, we value the health and safety of every guest - and fully support the government effort to contain the virus. As an RV Campground/Park, we can remain open, and have decided to keep all RV sites, cabins and store open based on the current situation.
Your RV is essentially a "home on wheels" and a great place to shelter in place. Our cabins and lodges are not connected to each other, and therefore, you can stay in your own space with a lot of the comforts of home. Pet friendly...YES. Please feel free to bring your 4 legged friends as well. We do however have a limit of 2 per site. Try our NEW Dog Pen RV Sites!!! They already have a totally enclosed 8x10 fenced in pen right at your site! Check for availability. :)
Set in the high desert and surrounded by mountains, this KOA is the campground most centrally located to Arizona attractions. Enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment and great weather year-round. This is the perfect place to set up camp and take day trips to Las Vegas (1.5 hours), the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead (closer than Vegas), the Grand Canyon (2+ hours) and Lake Havasu, home of the London Bridge (45 minutes). This is the KOA closest to the Grand Canyon West Skywalk. Visit fun ghost towns like Chloride or Oatman. The campground has free mini golf, Wi-Fi, cable TV, seasonal heated pool and children's train rides. Check out the grocery and souvenir store, laundry and large, landscaped pull thrus. This KOA is pet and big rig friendly. Fun activities welcome all guests throughout the year. Pool: April 30 - October 15. Max pull thru: 70 feet. Your hosts: this KOA's award-winning team.

Campground house were a very lovely couple. They couldn’t have been nicer and were very accommodating. They even allowed us to purchase ice after hours. They did not have to do that, but they went out of their way and we cannot be more grateful. The grounds were so meticulously manicure, the little log cabin camping houses are absolutely adorable and we would definitely recommend this place. It’s not far off the beaten path, we happen to be traveling from California to Maine for the summer and I wish every RV campground was so cared for

We've stayed at this KOA four times in the past two years mainly because it's a stop on our way back home after snowbirding. We like the site with the tall oleanders for privacy. We've never used the pool or laundry, so we can't comment on them. The bathrooms are decent, showers are small, but adequate. Their store is quite fun, lots of souvenir stuff, games, snacks etc as well as those items you found you forgot or ran out of.

Stayed in a cabin and was not disappointed. Close to Rt 66. Quiet and peaceful. Pool was relaxing after riding a motorcycle in 92 degree heat most of the day. They have a food truck on site with hot dogs, burgers and pizza. Had two hot dogs. Some of the best I have ever had. They were cut in two length wise and slightly charred. Delicious. There was plenty of seating in the courtyard to enjoy your meal.

The people who work here are awesome!! The bathrooms and laundry are immaculate. REALLY CLEAN. It is in town and the sites are narrow but, I WOULD STAY AGAIN. I can't rate the cabins, I have a motorhome.

Great staff, weird location, and privacy. I ended up here because of bad weather. Who knew it snowed in Kingman. Every person I met working was nice and helpful. Checking in took a minute because the lady was alone and the phone was a bother, but they have a fully stocked store to entice you while you wait. Sites, while small, were a tad more private than many KOAs (who invented these buddy sites? ) Dog Park was confusing. I walked around 10 minutes to figure out how to enter the dang thing. Dump station was clogged, so I used a campsite's dump. They started working a remedy immediately when notified - I found that impressive and deserving is 5 stars itself. The weather was terrible while there, so the place looked a little sad, BUT it's a rarity and I bet it's a beautiful fun stay when the sun is out and it's not wet (or snowing). They even have mini golf.
