Our stay was short, but very enjoyable. Sites are clean, very clean park, close to fun stuff. Near Montreal, right on Lake Champlain, short drive to Plattsburgh, Lake Placid makes for a great day trip. Just across the lake is Burlington Vermont, good restaurants, nice to walk around. All in all, it’s worthy of a stop and stay!

They were upgrading the whole campground there were not a lot of other campers so we had the whole campground to ourselves. The location was incredible. The staff there were very helpful and nice 🙂 I would definitely go back here.

Amazing place. Very nice, large campground. Clean. Beautiful views. Amazingly uncrowded. Coming from California where you have to book 6 months in advance and everyplace crowded, this place is a gem. Quiet and clean. I highly recommend it and so does my dog. 😂 Also, the manager Steve was extremely nice and helpful.

We had a wonderful time at Kings Bay! Everything was clean and well kept. We especially loved spending time on the beach and out on the water with the kayaks. The lake access and beautiful views made this a perfect peaceful getaway. Already looking forward to visiting again soon.

We’ve been coming to Kings Bay Campground for a while, and I have to say — the new ownership has completely turned this place around in the best way possible! You can really feel the difference. Everything is cleaner, more organized, and way more family-friendly. They’ve added tons of activities for both kids and adults, which makes it so much fun for the whole family. The staff is super friendly and clearly cares about making sure everyone’s having a great time. It’s become one of our favorite spots to camp — we’re already planning our next trip back! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t been in a while. Kings Bay is definitely on the up!

Super rude.. didn't even camp there. Drove in to check it out and got yelled at by the French Canadian lady who either owns it, runs it or whatever. Would never to back. It's not that nice anyways, can't imagine what they charge people... disappointing because the area could use a nice campground.

Drove over to see the campground. We live quite a distance from there. There were only a few campers there many lots open. We also were not allowed to inspect the sites to choose a what might be the best spot for us. They were very snooty. Most campgrounds will let you look around to check out amenities and try to get your business. Instead they made us feel unwelcome. Wouldn't want to spend my money there.. Just to be treated poorly. No manners at all!!!

Went under rennovation and facilities are great. Was quiet and relaxing and the woman that runs it is really nice . A little on the pricey side for tent camping

My husband and I recently saw a brochure for this campground at an RV dealership in VT . We thought we would check it out to see if we would like to Camp there as we live relatively close by. When we drove in there was a couple by the road mowing the lawn, we slowly drove by the main office but it was dark in there so we decided to just drive around the campground to have a looksee as there were only 5-6 campers there at that time camping. We were about to get out of our car to walk down and look at the lake shore when a French speaking woman came walking quickly toward us asking what we were doing?? I explained to her that we saw their brochure and would like to look at the campground to see if we would enjoy camping here . She told us NO we had to leave as to not disturb the people sitting down by the water!!😳🤦🏼♀️ We immediately left and said we would NEVER return to this campground because of how RUDE this woman was!! We believe this couple just purchased this campground and this is their first season owning it. They have got a lot to learn about customer relations! Normally one would welcome people who want to tour your new campground to see if you would like to vacation there! Apparently they have not figured this out yet! Just drove by the campground over Labor Day weekend , one of the biggest camping weekends of the summer and only 2 campers there!!! Rudeness gets you no where!!
