Love staying here. Been staying her multiple times a year for three year. Not every stay has been without its hiccups, but Camp ceder always takes care of the issues. To me that means alot. The staff is always polite and helpful. The shuttle drivers are always the best part for me. The best tips for the park and always good stories.

Great place but guest experience needs improvement to tie it together. They held a Halloween event & vendor show open to the public that took up the amenity spaces and filled up the check in parking lot, and the event wasn’t listed on their website anywhere when booking. Any campground I’ve visited prior had events clearly listed & they were always exclusive to paying guests. This was our first visit here, but the girl working check in just slid me some keys and a map and told me how to find my place on the map. I would have really liked to be given an overview of the amenities, the hours of them, and other “first timer” details. The map had a QR code to scan for menus and said they offer food delivery, but the QR code just takes you to reservations for their dine-in restaurant with no menus or online ordering service. I went to the check in office to ask how to order and to get firewood, but found that they close at 7 pm and there was no number or anything to call for assistance. We just went back to our cabin and ordered dominos, but I felt pretty disappointed in the whole experience as a first timer. The cabin was beautiful and the facilities were great too, just wish it was easier for the guests to relax and enjoy them.

This is an very nice resort. The spots are all well manicured, level and spacious. They do play music that you can hear if you park close to the pools. A great feature is a pool side restaurant that is very nice. They have shuttle service to Kings Island and gold cart rentals. We plan to come back next year. As we enjoyed both our stays this year. Highly recommend.

We love Camp Cedar cabins. Cheryl helped us complete our reservation today for our stay in October. She was great!! The cabins are great. We have stayed in the past. We feel safe here and the people are so friendly. Staff is helpful and on task. Great experience

This was our second stay at Cincinnati Camp Cedar, and it was just as great as the first. So much better than a standard hotel room—you get your own private cabin, plenty of personal space, and no boring hallways. The full kitchen was a big plus, and everything was clean and comfortable. We were genuinely excited to be back. Huge thanks to Cheryl at the front desk—she’s warm, welcoming, and truly an asset to the camp. If she’s in the running for any kind of contest or advancement she gets my vote. Highly recommend!

We did a camper rental at Camp Cedar for the weekend and had an amazing time! Let me start by saying I was supposed to arrive Thursday but couldn’t due to work obligations. I called and let them know I wouldn’t be getting there until Friday and did not expect nor ask for any refund as I’m aware of cancellation policies and this was my own issue. I was beyond surprised when I checked in Friday to learn they refunded my Thursday night stay and golf cart rental without me ever asking or expecting it. That’s impressive business!!! The camper was surprisingly well maintained and fully furnished. As I have a camper myself, I was skeptical with renting one as I know the wear and tear that comes with campers but was pleasantly surprised with how well kept it was. Camp Cedar’s amenities were impressive. The pools and bar & grill were outstanding and well kept. We had lunch at the grill and the food was incredible. Everyone we interacted with was outstanding and service focused. We had so much fun we are already planning our next trip! Also… if you want to visit KI, they offer free shuttles. I highly recommend Camp Cedar!

Our family recently hosted about 100 wedding guests at this resort over the 4th of July weekend. The location was scouted and chosen in December of 2024. Best decision we could have made. We appreciate so much the wonderful support the whole staff showed us the entire holiday weekend when the camp was close to sold out. Our guests complimented us on the venue choice and amenities. The staff were wonderfully friendly, gracious, and helpful. I was personally complimented many times on the legwork prior to arrival, and I made sure to pass along the credit to the amazing Cincinnati Camp Cedar team who provided support every step of the way. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay at Camp Cedar.

Our family stayed here two weeks ago to celebrate my daughter's sweet 16 birthday. We absolutely loved our stay in the hickory cottage. It comfortably slept 2 adults and 5 teenagers. Everything you need is conveniently located. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed in one of their cottages..fun place! Lots to do. Fire pit..picnic table..furniture on the porch. Dining options right on site. Food was really good! Pool looks like it would be fun in the summer…right next to kings island!! Will definitely go back in the warmer weather!!!

Camp Cedar has really put the pieces together starting with a great staff, great food, and great location and all the conveniences you need. I was here for a business retreat/mtg. and plan to return for a family vacation. There may have been some delays/bugs with the initial grand opening but they have figured it all out and it is a great place I would recommend highly !

July ‘21It was worth the wait! We will definitely come back. Everyone was super nice and the service was spot on. March ‘22 No hot water in the winter & Phone didn’t work to call front desk. Not much insulation in the cottage. Definitely a summer time event but $77 a night you get what you pay for.

We went over summer. Knew it was new. Staff was nice, food was good. Bar service was great. Grounds were super nice. Pool was clean and beautiful. I would add a nice shaded or semi shaded play ground and other activities. Everything is expensive, hard to get supplies so I don't hold that over them. I'd add more shade to the pool and out door game area too. Easy to get to restaurants near by.
