I had a great time while staying here. The new owners Jess and Scott were very warm and welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean and the campsite was so peaceful. They are working on renovating the area but even still there were so many cozy campsites to choose from. Between the affordable price and the close distance from some of the best spots in ANF, this is definitely the spot to go to! Before going on this trip we had a list of three other campgrounds and each one ended up being locked up or impossible to find given the misleading website. This place was very easy to find and booking our stay was also a breeze. I’m so fortunate to have stumbled across Cozy Embers.

Scott and his wife were very nice even though it's not a koa anymore. Hasn't been for awhile. But we will be back

We love this Campground. Bob and Ann and the crew have been really nice and accommodating to our family. We have had a seasonal campsite for 6 seasons at this location.

A group of 5 adults and 6 kids (aged 8-17) in my family stayed in a combo of cabins and RV sites for about a week and had a great time. The kids enjoyed the pool and riding bikes around the property, the cabins were simple and clean, the bathrooms were basic but clean and the owner was super friendly and accommodating. Close to hiking and launch sites for kayaks. The little store at the reception office kept us supplied with ice and firewood and much needed chocolate for s’mores. Will hopefully be back next year!

Initially we reserved a tent site, but due to rain the sites were muddy and unusable. Without asking, management gave us a cabin for our stay at no extra cost! The facilities were clean and the sites were spaced out well. Plenty of cool things to do in that area, I will stay here again if I am in the area!
