Our favorite place to camp! Great trails, fishing/crabbing pier and the most beautiful sunsets! Separate beach for dogs all in a beautiful natural setting. Sandy beaches, clean water and wildlife galore. Playground for the kiddos along with picnic tables in that area.

The west side beach is sheltered from big waves by decommissioned WW2 concrete warships. Also pets are supposed to be prohibited from that beach. There are a lot of the no-see-um/chigger type flies depending on the day/time, so be prepared with bug spray. Great beach for kids to play. The campground is nice, not my favorite, but I don't like being that close to neighboring campers, and would prefer more natural shade. You can walk to beach from campsite(less than 5 min walk). Great staff.

My stay there was very good and very affordable. One downfall there was no public trash cans to dispose of your trash you had to take it to a dumpster on your way out. The reservation desk was very friendly and when I went to the general store which is very small unlike other campgrounds I was treated with great customer service and hospitality!

A secret gem and if you’re lucky enough to have the time to visit this beautiful place you definitely won’t regret it. We tent camped for two days and it was one of our favorite camping trips to date. Our dog absolutely loved the beach and trails. We loved the sunsets and peaceful vibes!

Great state park! Beautiful and just perfect! The staff is super nice! The area is beautiful and clean. Plenty of space! Great park for children. Our kids just loved walking around, going to the beach to dig holes and collect seashells and go around with their bikes. During the weekend the little store is open, my kids would love to go their and buy ice cream. the lady is so nice there! We'll come back for sure!!!
