We recently had an issue at the KOA in Flagstaff. The team at Kit Carson helped us find a space with full hook ups day of our dilemma. We were incredibly stressed out and their assistance wiped it away. Strongly recommend.

Very VERY quiet. Misc size lots. Elect, sewer and water. Clean. Good location to Flagstaff downtown area but still in the trees. Staff was very nice! Let us switch spots with no issues. Very friendly. A little high priced for the amenities offered but still a good place to stay.

I don’t care how desperate I am, I will NEVER stay here again. The roads are so poorly managed. The laundry facilities all smell like urine and don’t work half the time. For the outrageous price you have to pay, there are ZERO amenities or perks. It’s a giant dust bowl and all around just dirty. The new park manager is less than a pleasure to deal with. When my contract was up, it was never communicated to us that we had to come into the office to tell them we were checking out. Wouldn’t it be common sense that when my contract ended was the day I was leaving? I was given zero instructions as to what needed to be done and was then called to be told I had to come and rake my lot of pine needles and pine cones. Then I had to bag it all by myself. But don’t worry, they really helped me out by giving me 2 complimentary garbage bags. How generous. If the lot wasn’t raked how they saw fit, I was to be charged the daily rate until it was cleaned. I hate this place more than I can even explain. I will never ever recommend to anyone.

This was simultaneously the worst and most expensive RV park on our 3000 mile tour of the southwest. The office was located away from the facility and we didn’t get to be greeted by anybody. You have to sign in with all your information and agree legally to all sorts of things long before you even see the place. The bathroom was small and cramped and had no hot water. our site was dusty and noisy and heavy equipment came by the road with lots of potholes. I don’t recommend this facility to anyone

We personally wont be back. You need to send full insurance information on your rig and your truck before reservations can be made. Never have that in the three years we have been full time and been across the entire country three times. Once we pulled in we figured out why. The power lines are so low that the first three spots they wanted us to take we would have ripped down the power line. Finally took a spot we could barely get in to. Our trailer was so close to the power lines we weren't comfortable with a possible power arc. (See photos of our Montana) When we dumped our tanks to leave, the sewer started backing up and coming out of the drain and running on the ground. The office stunk like cat urine. We sadly will never go back.

This is an older park. Spaces are large with plenty of room to maneuver. The best things about this park are the staff and the activities. Saturday morning - free coffee and donuts get together. Monday evening - bingo. Saturday night movie night. Pot luck twice a month. Women go out for lunch twice a month. Special holiday dinners. The staff - we could not have been treated better. From the manager, to the office staff, to the maintenance staff. Great people. At one time this park had problems. They have cleaned house. No issues at all in our two month stay. You feel like you are camping in the forest, yet only a mile to Flagstaff.

This is the worst RV park we have ever been too. Been traveling in our RV for over 2 months with our two 5lb. pugs. Paid $250.00 upon arrival and by the time we got in our spot and got the slides out the guy calls about an issue with the dogs paperwork for the dogs. So my wife went to the office and was told we had 20 minutes to either get the paperwork fixed or leave. As it was 4:30 PM we were not able to do anything that night and had to leave with no where to go in the middle of summer with places full. To top it off they wouldn't refund the $250.00 paid for one hour or less. Disgusting people and policies. These people should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves!

Nice park with beautiful huge old trees surrounding all the camp sites. Located conveniently right next to the highway but once your inside the park & surrounded by all the trees you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. Its peaceful and relaxing. Prices are kinda steep for the amenities you get but that should be expected in Flagstaff.

Everything here was very nice except for the showers. They were so dirty they were unusable. The setting among trees was nice. Hookups were working. Office was closed when we arrived so did not get the wifi password. The girl on the phone was very nice and helpful.

We had a pretty good experience here, compared to many of the other reviews. Would give it a 3.5 if that were available. We strongly suggest getting there in time to view and choose your site, as some are not as good as others. (Office closes at 5pm). We reserved a spot via telephone and arrived after the office closed. There had been an obvious sewer backup there so we went to the office and found the managers number. She said it was fine for us to stay on another spot which we had already looked at and so we did. That night the maintenance guy spoke with us and said we would have to move in the morning as the spot we chose was already reserved the next day. In the morning we went to office and got a new spot assigned for the next few days. We spotted them out and found one we liked and moved over. They were nice at the office. We also noticed they had already cleaned up the spot we had originally reserved by the time we were up and about. The park does look a little trashy in areas, especially around the permanent and semi permanent sites. But everyone we met along the way was friendly. Some of the spots dont allow for a very good view. The spots are all really crammed in and around each other in areas and there is a huge area that is just storage of parked RVs, some in disrepair. Our door left us looking out, about 20 feet from the side of a permanent trailer, our neighbor and similar on the other side, although they were in a travel set up like us. Again, if you arrive early and spy out your spot you could do better. We did not venture to the laundry or bathrooms so can not comment on those. Overall, not a bad experience.

Down and out former trailer park looking place, with no hope of a future. Paid $57 for one night, and not worth a dime. Uneven, non-level curved site surrounded by storage RVs, run down travel trailers, dilapidated park models and depression. Bathrooms and laundry are outdated plywood shacks that were never cleaned, painted in garish colors meant to fool you into thinking someone cared. 50 amp FHU, unfortunately could not empty black tank due to the unevenness of the site. Even with the Jack's down.

We always stay here if we have a RV, the people are very kind. Flowers are in bloom at this time, it's a great place if you need to get away from the heat. Saturday morning at 830am they will have coffee and donuts for everyone. Most people have been coming here for more than 10 years so it's a great place. They have bathrooms and a shower for men and women. We love Kit Carson.
