We had to sleep at this camping for a night because everything around was full. Except the office lady who was really kind with us, the camping doesn’t worth what we payed for. 63$ dollar a night just to place a van on a tent spot, only cold water access, shower is not included so you need to pay 2$/4min. Mention of a water truck to fill-up the van but didn’t found it. Be careful of the road to go to the down part of the camping, really risky for low vehicle.

Our First Family Camping Trip – July 1st, 2025. National Day This was our family's very first camping experience, and it left us with wonderful memories. The campsite impressed us with its beautiful natural surroundings—nestled among mountains, flowing water, and dense forest vegetation, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. Right beside our campsite ran a clear, gently flowing stream. It quickly became a natural water playground for the kids and a refreshing escape from the summer heat for the adults. At night, the only sound we could hear was the peaceful flow of the stream—no other noise at all. It was incredibly quiet and calming, making it the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. High recommended No.16----18. My reservation number is No.17

I was hesitant to book due to the lower rating on Google and the overall price, however we went for it and we do not regret it at all. Campground is stunning with several places to take short walks. Directly across the main road is the availability for more difficult hikes up to Shannon falls! We booked site 17 and loved being next to the running creek, our stay felt private and peaceful, no one bothered us and other campers respected the quite hours! (not enforced by staff) Planning on booking but worried about the highway? I agree that there is road noise particularly in campsites 1-6. As you get to campsites 11-19 the creek drowns out any noise. Campsites 24-30 was far enough away for it not to be noticeable by us. Keep in mind, not every campsite was made equal some were more private or had more space, some got more sun and some were quite cold and shaded. On the topics of the showers, at a point in our stay a $4 shower was worth every penny. The opportunity for flushing toilets when needed and a quick hot shower was worth the extra toonies. Washrooms down at the campsites are trailer toilets.

We camped on June 6-8 2025. Their tap water at the lower campground were running extremely slow and it was really frustrating because we don’t bring too much water and we did depend on their tap water. We have to find the staff to help us find the available tap water, it took 30 mins each time go up to upper campground and we had to carried 10kg water tank back-and-forth. $200 per two night is not worth it.

Klahanie Campground is a 5-star gem! Stunning nature, ideal location by Shannon Falls & Sea to Sky Gondola. Spacious, private sites, clean facilities. Peaceful, yet close to town. A perfect Squamish escape! Booking may seem slightly confusing at first, but the system is user-friendly overall. Washroom facilities could use some improvement.

This is such a great campsite in a beautiful location. It’s right next to some great hikes and not too far from town. Easily accessible. In our experience it was really quiet despite there being lots of campsites and campers. The sites are decently spaced with lots of trees and bushes to give privacy. We camped right next to a stream so it drowned out the other campers noise. A few downsides though, there is a train that occasionally passes by and the campground is right next to the highway so you can hear super cars hauling off up the road. Other than that, it’s a beautiful site with plenty of amenities and in a perfect spot.

Most private campgrounds are crammed and you rarely get any privacy. Klahanie is better. There is vegetation between sites and space is decent. Facilities are very clean and the whole campground feels friendly. If they could add a bit more gravel in sites that are muddy and also do something about the ridiculous 150Mb/day WiFi (no kidding, this is what's being provided) the place could become one of our favorites. Oh, and fire rings could use some ash removal service.

Had a great stay. Very clean and quiet campground with flush toilets, showers and an outdoor kitchen wash-up area. There was also a nice grass area with picnic tables. Wonderful views from ocean to mountains with waterfalls. I’ll be back!

We stayed there for a couple of nights in May at a site with power. The best sites are definitely the ones without power available. It was fine, but so expensive! Much much more than a Provincial site. For the amount that they charge you would think they would have decent washrooms. No paper, no air hand dryer and no soap. There is a definite lack of them as well. If you are not close to one you are going to be trekking to a washroom. The stalls that they do provide are so tiny you can't turn around in them! They need to upgrade what they have and add many more washrooms. Lots of rules and they charge for absolutely everything. If you are in a site that has a view of Shannon Falls that is nice. Not sure how they justify the price other than people are willing to pay it because Provincial sites are booked up.

I called to ask for information and the person who answered was incredibly rude. I asked how much a dog was and was told I would need to click around the website to find prices and the information is all there. I was spoken to in a very rude tone and told to use the site and that I was the only person to have trouble finding relevant information. When I finally clicked through to see how much a site for 4 people would be, it was $360 for only 4 nights! I won't be wasting my money supporting this business.
