We just got back from an awesome weekend at Klahanie campground. Myself, hubby and our 2 daughters, ages 9 and 10, stayed at one of their cabins. We have done many camping trips to provincial, national and private campgrounds ove the past 20 years and this one by far is our favourite one out of all the private ones we stayed at. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, lots of activities planned for the kids to keep them busy, nice family pool, badminton, volleyball, jumping pillow, playgrounds, adult pool, mini golf (all free). Girls got to tie dye shirts, played bingo, we had free pancake breakfast (one of their monthly events). Friendly family atmosphere, a real hidden gem. We will definitely be back!

Great place for kids even little ones with lots to do onsite, has a jumping pad, mini golf, playground with sandpits. Clean large spaced bathrooms, great service. Highly recommend.

We had a camper at Klahanie for several summers more than 40 years ago. Such great memories. I don’t think I’ve been back in decades, but only because I no longer live in Nova Scotia. What a treat it was to visit again in summer 2025. Wonderful staff!

We had an amazing stay! The facilities were very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the price was more than fair. The only downside was the cabin was very old and the bed was very noisy. It was a bunk bed, I believe to double beds. Four of us were staying in the cabin and every time someone would roll over everyone would wake up because the bed would squeak and crack. We did have a lot of fun though and we will be back. Our thanks to everyone at the park for making it such a great stay! We will be bringing our trailer next time 😁
