Wonderful quiet beautiful Campground. Very quiet and private sites. Almost noone here 8/11-14/2025. Absolutely loved it! AT&T works fine, no TMobile. Must register and pay by QR code on phone.

Great campground. Went very late june, and man might I say the weather was great. Not blistering heat but not super cold. We camped from Wed-Sun. There were plenty of sites open to us when we arrived, it did slowly get more pact as the week went on, but still were about a third of the sites left when we aswell as alot of others left on Sunday Its a great campground with plenty of things to do around.

Far too much noise from the highway in my opinion. Even though the road to the campground is over a mile it still runs pretty much parallel to the Hwy, so you're still just across the creek from heavy trucks driving at all hours of the night. Would not come back (maybe in low season it's not that bad when Washington Pass is closed to through traffic)

Great place to. boondock. No water, when we visit for some reason. No reservations needed, being a mile and half off the highway, made it nice and quiet. Sitting an elevation at about 2,900 ft. Helped with the summer heat. No a/c was needed. Easy access to Early Winters creek, with a few other trails to explore. There was no real mosquito problem to speak of. We will be visiting again.

Beautiful area! We had our daughters wedding reception thereš

Nice facilities, nice campsites separated by trees for privacy. Very scenic right by a snowmelt creek running through a gorge. Because of the gorge and the mountains the weather can be a bit unpredictable, and cooler and windier than nearby Winthrop. Stake your tent and bring extra blankets!

We went during off season in November. No fees during this time. We has the campground to ourselves. We managed to scrounge for some firewood but it was frozen and wet - would highly suggest bringing your own during the winter months. The bathroom was cleaned and fully stocked with toilet paper. Photos are of the Maple Pass hike near the campground. Beautiful area.

Arrived at the campground around 12:30pm on a Sunday and several sites were available. Nice and quiet campground.
