KOA Sutherlin/Umpqua Valley

DO NOT WORK HERE!!!! The current manager, Chuck, has created a hostile work environment. He has made insulting remarks specifically against autistic people, gay people and Mexican people. The odd thing about the last one is there was a Mexican woman working in the office!!! He made the insulting Mexican comment to me, HER HUSBAND! The autistic comment was made about the owners own son. The owner was made aware of this hostile work environment by me. He DID NOT CONTACT ME regarding the complaint. I hate to think he condones this behavior of this supervisor to the KOA employees, but his silence spoke volumes to me. I had to quit. I guess the owner isn't worried about the pending litigation this manager creates. The manager also creates issues with the monthly residents there. Just ask them. He insults the overnight guests on a CONSTANT basis. He constantly makes remarks like, "These stupid f***ers are too dumb to follow instructions." He has made remarks as he wants to shut down the bathrooms as a punishment because he does not like residents using them or the way overnight guests leave them in disarray (it's a benefit of the park to have clean bathrooms, no matter the condition left by a guest). I wonder what the tent campers would have to do in that situation. This manager constantly berates the KOA employees for no good reason I could see beyond he just wants to be a jerk. He changes his own rules according to his current mood. He has an over inflated ego and a low sense of self worth. People like me work these places to work and have fun. The manager, Chuck, has sapped all of the fun out of working at the Sutherlin KOA. He and the owner are not going to like this review. But even the manager has to admit I worked hard at that place. You think he could have appreciated it and enjoyed having an employee that went above and beyond for the park.

What a find! We own a boutique movie theater on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina so this RV spot was especially interesting to us, as it's a former drive-in theater. The screen is still there and they even showed a movie on the night we were there. So much fun! They have free popcorn for the event! We ended up staying two nights, we loved it so much. Everywhere you looked , was place was prestine clean which matters to us. The staff was kind and considerate. They have a club house party room with a kitchen, big gas grill and a flattop griddle perfect for cooking a big breakfast. They have everything you need. They also have a little store for items we needed and some snacks and souvenirs. We'll be back! Larry & Lucie

We used to like it, but their dismal customer service and ridiculously mean cancellation policy turned it sour on us. Good luck with your bad business. There are better places around. We will never go back 👎🏻

This place was fantastic! It was once a drive-in movie theater and still has the large screen where they still play movies. There's even a special area with fire pits to sit and eat your popcorn. Some reviews comment about the sites being small for larger rigs especially those with slide outs. We have a 30' trailer without slides and had plenty of room.

KOI Pond

Nice and quiet KOA. Lots of pull through sites and they all seemed to have patios, and as you can see dog approved. They have a larger than most play field for kids with a playground and Frisbee Golf. There is a larger than normal off leash pet area that is long enough to play fetch. The most unique feature was the GIANT out door drive up style movie screen. There is laundry in the office and restrooms, which are decent, but look ready for remodel.
