I haven't been there for years and was driving by so thot I may stop there. Now Google wants me to review it because I searched it to see how far away it was from where I started. Years ago we rented a section of the campsite for a family reunion. It was awesome then as I am sure it is now.

Was driving up to likley B.C with my son from Alberta and had stop for the night. Gave the campground a call to see about a site that we could park in just to sleep in our vehicle. She told me to come and park and spend the night. The campground was wonderful and the lake was beautiful. She and the other campers were so kind and my son and i felt so happy to have a safe place to park for the night. Truly amazing people and beautiful welkept campground. Thank you and will be back again one day.

We stayed here for 8 nights on a waterfront site. Let's start with the good: - the site had excellent beach frontage and the lake is shallow enough for the first 30 or so feet that young kids could confidently play. - most of the campground was covered in grass, this made for a park like setting but also a heat-sink from the strong summer sun. - boat moorage is available on the dock at no additional cost. This was very appreciated. There was also lots of room for boat trailer parking also included. - one of the maintenance personnel was exceptionally friendly and had multiple wonderful interactions with our kids. She was a benchmark of what you'd look for in an employee that would have direct or indirect customer interaction as a result of their duties. If our review was solely about her, we'd handily rate it 5/5. Onto the not so good: - they didn't have our party in their book as checking in on the day we arranged to check in, the sites happened to be vacant but this could have been very problematic. They also overcharged us by $100, but was reversed when we caught it. Every other camper we talked to brought up how disorganized their booking system is. - I specifically inquired about the mosquito population before reserving, and the answer I got was "i don't think I saw more than 5 mosquitos all last year". That may or may not have been true last year, but they were so abundant in the evening that it was untenable to be outside and my 7 year old daughter had to be checked by a doctor after an allergic reaction when her 60-70 bites swelled into welts. - The drinking water had a boil advisory which we felt warranted a warning prior to our check in. We would have better stocked up or filled our fresh water tank before arriving. Instead we burned through an unnecessary amount of propane to boil the water and paid a premium for local bottled water. Also, the water was so turbid and cloudy that there was probably a tablespoon of corse sand per liter. We had to fully flush our RV at home to purge the sand while sanitizing the lines from e. Coli. Even without e. Coli I don't think I'd feel safe cooking or drinking it. - the view when facing the lake was wonderful but the view facing into the campground was very dumpy. It looked like they emptied entire storage rooms filled with old appliances, junk, and scrap and left them strewn across the center of the campground. If it wasn't for the water quality and junk piles, we'd consider returning, but for now, unfortunately, we don't think we will.

Rv spots are very nice, amazing view. Staff/owners are very friendly and helpful. There are pull through rv spots and back in. Some spots don’t have sani dumps on site however there is a spot at the campground to dump your tanks before you leave. Can’t recommend this place enough

Its the little things about this place I feel makes the location, people and scenery much much more enjoyable while staying at this resort. From mini golf that's out front your door step, hot food available being cooked on the grill, to a beautiful lake and amazing staff who "makes it feel like home". Our family has been coming up here for decades and look forward to many more stays! Thanks again to Stacy and her wonderful staff! See you next year!
