Wow, what can I even say, I’m blown away. Me and a big group just stayed here for 4 days in an array of their available accommodations (2 campsites, 3 cabins and 1 hotel room). Check in at the front desk was a breeze and the lady assisting us was personable, friendly and efficient. Off to a good start. We arrived at our cabin and I couldn’t have been more pleased, it was spotless clean, bigger than the photos show, and even had nice touches like potted flowers on the deck, a Picnic table and some great Adirondack chairs to relax in. The rooms were awesome, the beds were clean, the bathroom, newly renovated with a shower and small tub. The bedding was crisp and clean, and the beds were comfortable. They even made sure our cabins were all next to each other and right across from the two campsites some of our party stayed at! There is a variety of beach options nearby and we lucked out with some great beach weather, but the best part is, after a hot day at the beach you get back to the shade of the big beautiful cedars all over the property, perfection. Head to the onsite hot tub if you need a warm up after a dip in the lake! The crew came around every day to check if we needed anything (fresh towels, extra pillows or blankets, new tea towels, toilet paper, garbage bags etc.) and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. Sooo accommodating, so kind, I was incredibly impressed with each and every employee I had the pleasure of interacting with. There was absolutely no disturbances at any time during quiet hours, a peaceful sleep and morning every night and day. I really cannot say enough about how incredible this place is and I’m probably missing some of the things I loved and appreciated, but what I can say is don’t skip out, you’ll love this beautiful property and the town in which it sits, which boasts many local artisans with a wide array of talents. Can’t wait for my next visit to Kootenay Chalets, thank you for everything.

We stayed at the RV sites with our trailer. It was full service with delicious mountain spring water. The location was awesome. The private beach through the wetlands was so nice. Lots of sand and the water was warm. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here a couple times. Check in is super easy, as was check out. Staff are friendly. Rooms were clean and I did see some rooms has portable A/C units. Ours did not, but I don't know if I missed if they were available to rent... cool in the mountains at night though, so wasn't necessary for us. We did travel with 3 big dogs as well. Very accommodating. They have showers by the office for the RV park, that we used as there was 5 of us. Showers were clean and HOT. Reds bakery is a must (at least once) but go early, they get very busy.

We stayed here for 5 nights. Staff is amazing. Truly care about the guest and safety of small children. The bakery here is outstanding. Beautiful sandy beach very close by. A lot of seasonal campers here and they were friendly as will. If we are in the area again for sure will choose this location. Washrooms and shower were very clean as well.
