We have been full-time rv'ers for 9 years. This park was so much better than expected. For $35/nt, it's a great value and a nice park. Bathrooms are very clean. Beautiful views of a lake with a walking path around it. Nicest playground we've ever seen. Don't miss the 1774 fort and cabin adjacent to the park. We felt very safe during our 1 week stay.

Before making reservations here, I wasn’t sure if this campground was operating because of information I found online. While making the reservation, I talked to a woman on the phone (the owner) and she said it was $25 a night for a full hookup. They only accept cash or check and you pay when you get there. I wasn’t assigned a reservation number but the owner said assured me I had a spot booked and it’s just her and her husband that work there. When I got there, I was assigned site 29. Overall, I was looking for something close to downtown Point Pleasant and this was a good fit. There is no wifi and cell service was a little spotty (I had 1-3 bars at times for cell service). There’s a park with a trail that you can walk or bike around. There’s also a fort nearby that you can check out. Even though this campground didn’t have all the bells and whistles like some of the other once’s I’ve stayed at, you can’t beat the price.

Excellent CG. Apparently owned by the city so its right next to a great play ground, splash park and lake for fishing. 1 mile paves walking trail all the way around the lake was nice. Looks like they used to rent kayaks and paddle boats at 1 time. Laundry on site says closed but it was the weekend. Great park for only $25/night with full hookups 50/30 amps water and sewer. Would recommend to everyone.

I done had rated this place before but like I said this is the best place to fish and camping grounds and also picnic areas with tables to cook out or throw a birthday party. It's a beautiful place.

A very peaceful place. Stopped for an overnight but would like to stay for a few nights next time. Hosts are super helpful with wonderful hospitality. Probably the easiest checkin we’ve had yet.

We really enjoyed our get away weekend. It was our first time here and our grandchildren loved it. Judy was so super nice and it was well kept. The playground was good for the grandchildren. We will definitely be back. Everyone was friendly just don't expect a huge area in your campsite a little close but it is still great place

We were just passing through and were grateful to have a safe quiet place to spend the night. This was the most quiet campground we have ever stayed at. Full hook up and very reasonably priced ($25). We told them we would be getting in near sunset and the manager was kind enough to keep an eye out to come check us in after hours. Nice little path to walk around a pond. There is a playground.

Just passing through. I didn't stay or avail myself of the parks, acotrimion. But if you're by this part of the country 🚫 stop by and 💺 sit a spell. Whether you just want to ⛺ camp out under the stars ✳️, Or you have a camper or one of those giant Winnebago and want to get out of the house 🏠 for an extended period. Whatever your reason, your liking maybe come and say, hello 👋. If you tell us about your home 🏠 and we'll gladly tell you about ours. Just come, relax and sit a spell.😀😄😁

We loved this Campground! My dog & I got up at dawn & walked the track around the lake almost every morning for at least 3 to 4 miles. The place is beautiful! It's a walk i would never get tired of. The shower's are nice & clean. The laundry room is good size & has two washer's & two dryer's, which are also very clean. All the staff were so nice and courteous. And except for the dirty geese on the lake & around the walking track, the place was emaculent. Hey and that's just nature. We would definitely visit Krodel Park again.
