Our first stay was 10 years ago in a tent—my kids were maybe 3 and 7, site 62 perhaps. We had a blast! The little creek in our “back yard” was perfect for that time. This year we’ve come back twice with our RV—sites 32 and 34-and it’s been just as good. The staff is pure warmth and delight. The grounds are beautifully maintained, facilities clean and orderly. Google leads us straight here, the roads easy, wide, and in great repair the whole way. Each of my family has stated separately from the others that this is their favorite campground, as it feels like true nature, yet I appreciate that I didn’t drive through some flimsy mountain roads to get here. Thank you, Camp James, for being available for us to enjoy…even our little pup.

Every year my extended family and I stay here. The campground and restrooms are clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly, especially the office girls that have to check people in and also answer phones all at once. My parents rented an RV from them which had some problems during our stay. The owner personally came to their site and spoke with them and took care of the situation. We have been returning to this camp site for about 5 years and we will continue as long as they let us. Keep up the good work, it is definitely appreciated!

Nice campsites but there is only one bathroom with showers within the gated campsites. They have a one stall bathroom by the office. Don't like to pay to take a shower. Host and staff were friendly and sites are kept up. Worth going to.

Amazing campground. Sites all have shade and several of them back up to a decent sized stream that you can relax in during the summer months. There's a good size dog park located on campground and it's a short 3 minute drive to town. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone.
