Great last minute location! Beautiful area, right off the water. Very clean! I believe the employees name was Travis. He did a great job in recommending activities in the area and places to eat! Great job and we will stay here again.

The cabins are exceptionally clean. The deluxe cabin was so cute and comfortable. Highly recommend this campground!

Very friendly staff! Great location & quiet. Easy to find. HOWEVER, with a 43ft fifth wheel not all sites are suitable. On our first visit we were put in one of the slanted sites with 2 trees either side. Absolutely NO way for us to pull out forward as intended. Thankfully, next morning we were able to back out a little and with the neighbor moving his tow dolly, we were able to make it out. Before we left, we made sure that our future reservation was for the first straight pull-thru. That one worked really well. Would definitely go back if traveling through that area again.

We stayed 3 nights on site B8. Site was not very level & had a big tree stump which made pulling the camper in the site a little tricky. Pros: Travis in the office was very friendly and helpful. Near the interstate for easy access to the area. Pool & restrooms were clean. Negatives: Entrance drive was narrow. Loop A is the only moderately level area. Loop B, C & D are VERY hilly. No cable as advertised; WiFi for streaming only. Sites are close together; fortunately no one was in site B9 otherwise their dump hose would have been very close to our picnic table.

We generally have good experiences with KOAs, this one not so much. Sites are small and not level. And the roads are hilly and narrow. Like other reviews, would not recommend for larger motorhomes. We had serious difficulty getting level enough to put out slides. During the first attempt, a man, who based on other reviews was the owner, came and demanded we turn off the engine. So we did and ate dinner with the RV seriously tilted. We then tried again, and had to run the engine again to get the slides in and back out, etc. He came back and forcefully banged on the door of the RV yelling at us to turn off the engine RIGHT NOW along with other rude remarks. He wasn’t willing to hear the reason which I calmly tried to explain but fortunately a minute or two later we had the slides out and engine off. We apologized to the people in the site next to us who actually were very helpful and unconcerned. We are very experienced, courteous and responsible RVers and in years of traveling have never been yelled at by anyone for any reason. Needless to say we won’t be returning to this particular KOA.
