This place is awesome! Great staff, very clean, heaters in bathrooms, nice hot showers, deer roaming and feeding on lawn, great fishing off dock in Lake Superior, fantastic sunsets, and woderful hik8ng trails. JLW

Beautiful setting, right on the shore of Keweenah Bay. Sites are roomy, but some are very unlevel. The only hookup is electricity, but there is potable water at the dump station. They also have a fill station complete with several hoses on the road close to sites 6-12. Bathrooms are old but clean. There is a gazebo on the shore of the lake and there is a rocky beach here.

This is a family campground and Park. It is very nice, good restrooms, lovely lake access and has free wifi. We hope in there to load pictures and check email.

Stunning park! Extremely clean and welcoming. The views are peaceful, and the trails are easy for walking. Definitely worth the visit!

The View is amazing, the staff there were extremely helpful. We were only staying 1 night with our site booked for the next night. Our truck broke down, the grounds keepers knew the right people to help us and get us back on the road the next morning. Thank you guys for all of your help and going above and beyond. Pam Conrad

You have no idea how incredibly refreshing it was to speak to an actual person who could give me a definite answer. I loved the laid back, smile and a hand shake, form of trust they still believe it. The view is amazing and if you're a rock lover.....you NEED TO STAY HERE! We were only going to stay one night, that quickly turned into a three night stay. One I wish we could've turned into a week long stay.

Stayed here last June with my sister. We Tent camped. The first day we arrived it was pouring rain, not ideal for setting up a tent. I messaged the owner to let him know we wouldn't be arriving until the following morning. he was super understanding and accommodating & held our site for us. The location of this campground is right outside the Lanse city limit and, has a private beach access. The campground itself is super well kept, easily accessible, clean, Beautiful. & The bathrooms/shower houses are immaculate. Will be returning again this summer & cannot wait =) You cannot beat the affordable cost of this hidden gem!

Beautiful campground with great views. The host, Mike, is as helpful as you want him to be without hovering. Nice guy. The grounds are well laid out and comfortable. They have a dump station, electric, showers and playground. The city is an easy bike ride away on a gorgeous coastline street that wasn't busy at all. We will be back!

We did not camp here. We arrived towing a car. We could not look at the attractive sites (1-10) because they were located on a stub road with no turnaround. (We later returned with just our car to verify) Rest of campground was good for trailers but only a few sites for motorhomes. Bathroom facilities were being renovated.

We usually love this campground and have stayed there many times. This year we made reservations in April for a family reunion. All 6 of our siblings were planning to camp together. It's very rare that we all together because we are scattered around the country. They ended up double booking our sites. The campground was totally booked and we had to scramble to find another place another place to camp. Since we could not find another campground to accommodate all of us so now we're in two different campgrounds. We paid for 3 sites on one campground no one used because they not take reservations and we wanted to make sure we could have them. What was supposed to be a great family get together turned into a big disappointment

This is a wonderful park, very reasonable camping rates, well maintained, staff is super nice and helpful - they brought over extra blocks to help level our camper. Nice playground area for our two year old. Access to the water (down the hill and across the road) - this is a place we'll come back to!
