One of the beautiful parks we visited during fall. The park had a wide range of activities to do from canoeing, kayaking, hiking from easier trails to harder ones, picnic places, beaches, waterfalls and everything. The best time to visit to explore the whole park is during summer. They open the whole park until Thanksgiving day and after that, the park opens up to Lac Bouchard. It was too cold during our stay but our Otentik sites had a heater and we were able to buy firewood from the inside of the park. Washrooms and kitchen shelters are nice with a lot of adequate facilities. The outside BBQ and stove had a gas connection and all the utensils needed for cooking were there too. No need to worry about carrying all the stuff if you are booking an Otentik. I would definitely visit this park again and would love to go kayaking on the river.

Enjoyed camping at the campground in the park. It was very quiet and clean. The park has so much to offer- hiking, walking and biking trails , boating and so many peaceful lakes and picnic spots. It truly is a gem! You can also arrange to rent canoes at the remote lakes- we hope to do that next visit!

Beautiful park. We wish we had more time to really explore it. Campsites were large and clean. Good firewood from the park. Renting a Canoe was confusing because it has two registration places. But you need to go to the self serve kiosk first and then go pay at the other one. The canoe trip was beautiful on Wapizagonke. We didn't make it to the falls because we were absolutely exhausted after the canoe trip all the way there. We tried to go but the trek was farther then we thought and with my hurt foot we decided to turn around. We saw two beautiful loons and a beaver! On the way to the waterfall there was 3 beaver dams that you have to go through. Wear swimming gear. We wish we did! You have to get out of the canoe.

What an incredible park. Of the hundreds that my wife and I have visited, between the US and Canada, this is certainly the cleanest. The trails were well cared for, campsites and washrooms impressive, and staff were helpful and kind. We’re already planning our return.

Beautiful scenic drive. Unfortunately, much of the park was closed due to flooded areas but there was still 20km open. The fall leaves were fantastic and a bit of rain didn't stop us wandering. You do need a Canada Park pass, and there is a helpful info point before the checkpoints before the park entry with indoor toilets. There are also toilets at each of the carparks.
