Location & Surroundings

Tucked away south of Swift Current near Wymark, SK, the park is uniquely situated within a valley that offers a distinct microclimate and shelter. Accessible via Highway 4, the park offers a secluded lakeside escape that remains close enough to urban centers for convenient supply runs or afternoon day trips during longer stays.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is exceptionally well-equipped for modern travelers, offering RV sites with full service hookups alongside more rustic, electrified options. Golfers can enjoy the challenge of a 9-hole grass-green course, while families often gather at the licensed restaurant or the mini-golf area. On-site laundry, clean shower facilities, a large playground, and a dedicated boat launch ensure that every practical need is met during your camping experience.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Water sports are the main attraction here, with the lake providing excellent conditions for sailing and kayaking. Anglers frequent the waters for walleye and northern pike, while the sandy beach is perfect for summer relaxation and swimming. For those willing to explore the local area, the city of Swift Current offers historical sites and the Living Sky Casino, providing a variety of entertainment options just a short drive from the campground.

It's a lovely spot for a picnic with family and friends. Numerous activities are available, including boating, jet skiing, and fishing. There's a basketball court plus volleyball and soccer nets for the sporty individuals. Unfortunately, the wind makes it impossible to play badminton there. Kids don't need to worry either because there is a small playground. Toilets are also clean and have ample supply of tissue.

The lake is nice. Most sites are seasonal so felt like we were intruding. Need a sign on the road to prevent following Google to the old Town site.

The staff at the office are super friendly however the campground lacks of a lot of things. Cleanliness is one thing... Our fire pit was filled with garbage from the previous campers! Quiet time is from 11pm to 7am... And these hours are not respected at all! We've seen people drinking and driving with their cars and golf carts as well which makes certain situations pretty dangerous, especially with kids playing all over the place. Overall I wouldn't recommend this campground.

The corral camping ground was shocking, but it was good. Lots of people having campfires even though there was a fire ban.
