Big or Small, we can host you all!!
The Lafayette KOA campground offers Cajun camping at its best! Stay at this national award-winning KOA, located in the heart of Cajun Country. Rain or shine, your site will always be fine. Our level concrete pull-throughs will accommodate Big Rigs up to 70 feet.
No RV? No problem! Our cozy, comfortable cabins and cottages will make you feel right at home. Recently relocated to lake front and upgraded outdoor areas. Greet each morning with a hot cup of local coffee fresh from our stocked store. Stroll along our ten acre lake or bring your pole and catch a mess of fish for supper. No license is required!
Don't feel like fishing? Relax in the cool shade of our huge oak trees, or cool off in either of our two large pools.
Lafayette KOA campground is the place to stay as a home base to the many attractions located nearby. Our campground is a great jumping off spot to visit places like the Acadian Village, Tabasco Factory, Konriko Rice Mill, and local botanical gardens. No trip to Louisiana is complete without a swamp tour into the backwaters of the Atchafalaya Basin or beautiful Lake Martin. Don't leave without tasting true Cajun Cooking! There are so many wonderful restaurants and cafes' near by. Our little town of Scott is the Boudin Capital of the world. Right outside our park entrance there are several well known markets to sample this deliciously unique cuisine.

Spacious campground right along I-10 but traffic noise is negligible. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Reaching or leaving campground is through a tricky little rotary that causes traffic backups, not the fault of KOA, just an FYI. Pull thru site was level and hookups worked well. Many amenities are additional fees.

We had a terrific stay at this campground. Everyone was so nice and campground is beautifull. We will be staying again on our next travel through the area.

Wonderful experience! This is the second time we have stayed with y’all. Very friendly and helpful. Sites are beautiful and very restful. Many activities for children and a great place to spend a week. Only wish we had more time there. And the fishing is great!

Good looking park except for the tent camping area and cabin requirements. You can't choose the cabins unless you stay for 2 nights or more, and we just needed a one night stay. That sounds like a bad way to do business, because we just went across the street and rented a room at the hotel instead. It was walking distance to many things and we were able to get a room for a one night stay. So if you're there for just a day, stay away from this KOA.

We stayed for one night on a stop over to Galveston. There are multiple areas in this park. Older area up front, a little narrow, but very well kept. Obvious newer concrete area some with cabanas, tables, etc. We enjoyed sitting outside at night over looking the pond. We used the park for a base as we explored the area attractions and restaurants. They have two pools. The temperatures were quite hot and the larger pool was warmer than wanted, but okay. Lots of families around enjoying the park.
