Great Friendly Park, super clean, amazing beach, lovely pool and activities for all ages. Yoga in park, Bingo night, pickleball, Saturday night bands, 50/50, and so much more…. All this led by the amazing management team: “Ranger Rick”, Deanna and Bill who all work so hard and help everyone in the park So glad we choose this park ❤️

Bloom Resorts Sandbanks is an amazing place to be. Beautifully kept park with fun activities and great amenities and the staff goes above and beyond. We have been here for 3 years now and are so glad that we chose this place! Thanks Rick and Deanna for doing what you do day in and day out!

Absolutely amazing experience. We purchased our trailer at Sun Retreat Sandbanks and I cannot say enough positive things about this park, from the friendly and caring people to the clean facilities and the incredible planned activities that are transparent at the beginning of the season. Rick and Deanna care so much about everyone in this park, they have definitely helped to increase the enjoyment that our family had this year! Sad we had to close down but definitely looking forward to season opener next spring!

Rick and his entire team at Sun Retreats Sandbanks go the extra distance to make this park feel like a big family/community! Lots of organized events all summer and the entire park is kept clean and well cared for. If you’re looking for a new summer spot, check them out!!

Just spent the long weekend at this park for the first time. Staff are so friendly. Really nice weekend. Pool was so warm even in the cooler temperatures. They had a Barbque for charity and the fellow playing guitar was really great. Highly recommend this park.

Our second stay and it was equally as enjoyable as the first. It was fall and the leaves were starting to change colour, beautiful area at this time of year. The grounds are extremely well kept and the site we stayed in was easily accessed and level. Services were conveniently located in our site, the only issue was with very low water pressure a couple times during our six day stay. Lake Avenue, while located at the south end of the county, is still convenient for accessing the rest of the area. You'll find nothing is really far away. We brought our kayaks as the resort has an excellent beach and boat docks on East Lake, but weather prevented getting them out. Our bikes got well used on the Millennium Trail, a definite must do while staying in the area. Plenty of wine tours to take in as well as craft breweries. The owners of Lake Avenue are welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Thier resort is a combination of full-time sites with a number of transient sites. The permanent units are clean and well cared for. I would imagine the place is gets fully booked in the summer months, but we have been lucky enough to find spots on our spring and fall stays. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return here again.
