Great place to camp, clean bathroom, well maintained. Nice walking trail, great to walk dog. Also have a dog park so they can play. The cabins are nice. The park staff are friendly, helpful and do a great job. Great place for all ages.

We LOVE camping here! The DNR guys here, they take a lot of pride in safety/security and cleanliness. We tent camp in the electric/rv spots since we need electricity and we always have plenty of space. This campground in Iowa is the best maintained we’ve ever been in. The lake has awesome large mouth bass fishing! Great boat ramp, and docks if you need. There’s another small lake, sandy beach for swimming, play area’s/parks, cabins, shelters, etc.

Very clean, cement sites with water and electricity. Water is shared with a neighbor, so be sure to have a Y connector. We were in site 17 and both water and electric were long runs. There were several very level sites, however, not available when we arrived on Thursday before Memorial weekend. Site 17 was not meant for our class A as we had to have 6" of wood under our front tires and 4" under the front jacks. People were catching bluegill and bass in the pond like area next to the lake. Very quiet, no highway noise or trains.

Very well maintained. Very nice area. Descent fishing from the banks. The cabin we stayed was nice. The shower was kind of small with handicap seat installed. Maybe they could put a portable. A lot of wasp nests could be knocked down above porch. Overall we did have a very nice stay.
