The lake was very green and unpleasant to swim in. The firewood was pretty expensive at $15 for a small bundle. The sites were small, and there is not much to do here. I wouldn't revisit.

Awesome place to camp in. Quiet, family and pet friendly and just enough out of the way to feel secluded. The caretaker and her staff are wonderful. I have never stayed at a campground where i could call up someone at 7 pm to deliver me 5-star burning wood. Cut well, never wet, no smoke, even brought bark kindling. Truly cares. The non-electric campground was grass, which made my dog's experience incredibly lovely. We had no neighbours, and no one in our personal space. It was HUGE, well treed, and well maintained. I like to go to a new regional park every year, this year we chose Lake Charron and it did not disappoint. I didn't take in any fishing, but Lake Lenore is 35km away with some of the best fishing in central Sask, so lots to do. Naicam is quite literally 5 minutes off the grid road and has all the immedities should you forget something. I highly recommend leaving your beer and or eggs at home and buying from there to support their town! 4/5 - would have been 5/5 but the beach was sub par, mainly due to the species inhabiting the area - which nothing you can do about that. Less a resort lake, more of a nature spot.

Great playground.

We own a lake front property at Lake Charron. We love that it is a well maintained, small, quiet regional park on a little island. It is our little oasis.
