Didn't want to listen to the negative comments, so we checked it out for ourselves. Confirmed: electric boxes were mostly gutted and left opened/exposed. Lawns are in bad disrepair. Looks as though they've missed the last 3 mowings. Stickers (curse burrs) everywhere and seeding into the ground to generate more for next season. Not sure why God created those things. My human brain is limited, forgive me Jesus. Permanent party area was not bad, however people stay long term in the non-permanent area. Evident by seeing kids toys and yard ornaments out and around camping trailers. The whole place looked run down and borderline ghetto. I was not at all impressed by this campground. We re-hopked the car to the motorhome and went to Ft Cobb Lake State Park instead. The only reason I would consider coming back to lake Chickasha is to launch a boat to try out the fishing.

Spacious parking for vehicles, ramps for boats, and open waters for various water activities.

Had a cool hill but it was kinda felt rundown. The public areas were mowed and trimed nice but the jerry rigged semi permanent trailers gave it a getto trailer park vibe. The bathrooms were all shut down and just had portable toilets next to them was nice and quiet tho.

Great lake! Stopped by to check it out for the first time and toss in a line. A couple of weak bites. But had fun all the same. Too bad people have left trash just about everywhere. Next time I go back I'll bring a trash bag and take some out with me!
