We held our family reunion at Lake Chippewa Campground over Labor Day weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful! Beyond the gorgeous weather, the campground itself and all of the amenities were truly top notch. Our group ranged widely in age, and there was something fun for everyone — from the playground and mini golf to train rides, bike trails, and water sports. The kids were constantly entertained, and the adults were just as happy. We also rented a golf cart (a huge hit!) which was very affordable and made it easy to get around the grounds. The pontoon rental was another highlight — well-equipped, comfortable, and in great condition. We just wish we could’ve kept it a little longer! Our group made use of nearly every type of accommodation available — tent camping, trailers, park models, and cabins — and everyone was genuinely pleased with their stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. All in all, Lake Chippewa Campground exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect place for a large family gathering, and we’re already talking about coming back again. Highly recommend!

This is our 22nd year camping up here and we just love it. Family owned and cared for with wonderful staff, great amenities on the flowage. Great lodge with fun for all ages, great snacks and plenty of supplies if you forget anything. Wonderful bathrooms and showers as well. Wish I had a permanent place here. Jackie

It is a very family friendly campground. We stayed here for the 4th of July and all had a great time. It’s clean, well maintained and has a very friendly staff. The only thing that would make it better, is if the beach was bigger. It was also pretty busy with a lot of people driving around golf carts.

We have stayed in our RV multiple times. It's a nice campground. We have always felt welcome and have extended our stay more than I'd like to admit. It doesn't always work out, but they do their best to accommodate. We don't use the bathrooms much, but they are older and I believe you have to pay for a shower. That's my only gripe, but it's really not that big of a deal because we like everything else. It's a beautiful place in the fall and not super busy!

What a beautiful, well kept and family friendly campground! We loved the grounds, amenities (especially boat rentals) and game room. We took several long walks around the grounds and loved the fall foliage. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We look forward to our return next year!

This place is great. They have everything: primitive sites, rv sites, cabins, kayak rental along with a variety of other watercraft, a great beach, very nice lodge style store with eating area and a huge patio, playground for the kids, arcades, games to take outside, trails to go for a walk...I can't think of anything you could add to a campground to make it better. They also worked with us when our group unexpectedly got larger over Labor Day Weekend, they have trash pick up twice a day so the place is very clean, firewood is delivered to your site, seemed very family oriented. The lake is huge with islands to give a little cover from the wind if needed. It's by far the best campground I've ever been to and I've camped all over the U.S. including Alaska.
