Situated just north of Clarion, IA, the park is easily accessible for RVers traveling through the region. The landscape is characterized by the expansive views of the lake, bordered by mature trees and lush green spaces. The campground offers 75 sites equipped with electric hookups, accommodating both 30-amp and 50-amp requirements. Visitors have access to modern amenities including clean restrooms and hot showers, which are essential for a comfortable stay. For those traveling in larger motorhomes, a convenient dump station is available on-site. Beyond the campsites, the park features a sandy swimming beach, several picnic shelters, and a playground for children. Boaters will appreciate the well-maintained public boat ramp, providing easy access to the water for a day of fishing or paddling.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Life at Lake Cornelia centers on the water, where visitors can enjoy boating, kayaking, and fishing for panfish or walleye. The park also provides access to hiking trails that wind through the natural prairie and timber areas. A short drive into Clarion offers cultural stops like the 4-H Historical Museum and local shops for stocking up on supplies. Golf enthusiasts can visit the nearby courses, while birdwatchers will find the diverse habitats perfect for spotting native Iowa species throughout the seasons.

Camped in lower site. No shower house there. No dump station in lower sites. Flys were horrible.

Took a trip to this area for hunting with some friends. The people in this area couldn't be nicer. The campground is very nice well kept and neighbors a lake that is great for fishing.

Nice quiet camping, But bathrooms need cleaning (maybe too early in season?)
