Lake Cumberland - COE/Fishing Creek Campground

We rented a pontoon boat from the campground. Campground looks well maintained and quite. The boat was amazing and very clean. We enjoyed our day on the lake.

The grounds are nice. However, the camp attendant that works at the check in area is horrible! We didn't have anywhere to park so we pulled up right by the camp area. No signs as to not park there, the attendant came through called us stupid for parking there and was very rude. We explained we didn't know and apologized. We finished breakfast and packed up to leave. On the way out at check out my spouse and I went to to window and I told him the way he spoke to us was rude and to please treat the guests better. He cussed us out again and even dropped several fbombs to my husband. I was trying to ask him not to cuss at us like that and he sat his dog in the window like he wanted it to bit us. He then slammed the window in our face. We will not be back here with him acting that way and ptreating the guests this. Completely uncalled for. Please stay away for the safety of your family this man has no control and is dangerous to he working there. I really hope they get rid of him, so he doesn't treat others this way.

Fell because of the wall you have to go over to get to your spot. Person took my chair while I was at the hospital because of injuries from falling. Ended up with a bad rash which caused another medical visit. Great place if you have a boat or fish. If not, nothing to do.

While trying to find new places to camp, my husband and I decided to check this place out. We drove through the campground, and we’re not impressed. There is not very much grass between sites. There are also very sharp turns that would not be ideal with very big campers. We also like to check out the restrooms at places before we camp there. The restrooms here were not very clean. We had already decided this would not be the place for us, but while leaving, a man (the host possibly) stopped us to tell us to not be driving through to look at sites because we did not pay for a site. Honestly, I probably would’ve have said anything, but if people are anything like us, we need to know if the sites fit our camper, how the road is, and how the restrooms are. I wouldn’t recommend this place, and we will never camp here. The man was very rude, and maybe he will be fired before they lose more campers.

We've been coming here for the last couple of years since it's only a few minutes away. Great place to relax. We never camped here though.
