We visited in Aug. of 2025 for 3 Days from PA for our first trip to the Great Lakes. The Great: Staff, Disc Golf Course, Showers/Bathrooms, View of Lake Erie, Cleanliness of Park. The Not Great: The Beach, Dead fish everywhere, Driftwood, Trash, Rocks not Sand, Shouldn't be advertised as a beach to be honest. As well as the park Erosion, Electrical lines coming out of the ground, closed camp sites. They have signs, caution tape and wood fencing in some spots but still scary with kids running around and bicycling. We would try somewhere else next year.

Nice place to camp. Not as woodsy as other places but still very nice. Clean facilities and 4 dump sations for a small campground is extremely efficient. Water fill ups throughout. The park Ranger is an amazing human that walks around every night and talks to every camper for a couple minutes and has dog treats ready to hand out to the furry campers. Just a great atmosphere and a great place to camp with a perfect view of the sunsets every evening.

Stayed at the campground for 1 week. Park is clean and mowed regularly. Bathrooms are clean but outdated. Sites have gravel pads which are severely overgrown with weed. Also narrow pads and most not level. Many trees require trimming, some preventing access to the site for larger rvs. A few hanging into the roads as well. Staff has been friendly when interacted with. Biggest plus are the gorgeous sunsets over Lake Erie!

Great park overall with lots if green space, camping space, playground, and walking beach. There is a new rec center too, but we ran out of time and didn't get to check it out.

It was a nice camping ground and people were welcoming. I recommend bringing a small hammer if you have a tent so you can get stakes in the ground. Also, when swimming please use caution as once you get in the water it's a mix of sand and rocks that can be very slippery especially the smooth ones.
