An absolutely beautiful place to hike , walk ,fish ,party, BBQ ,cycle you name it. I absolutely love the serenity on Weekdays. Weekends is buzzing with people doing bbq and enjoying. Highly recommended.

Lake Fairfax Park is a perfect spot for a fun day out! We had a great time paddle boating on the lake, enjoyed the BBQ areas with plenty of space for gatherings, and the swimming pool was a big hit. A wonderful place to relax, explore, and make memories with family and friends.

My Husky and I love this park! I cannot even drive past the entrance without my dog lunging out the windows. The park is pristine in every way with improvements and additions coming soon. This is a photographer's dream!

I visited Lake Fairfax Park today and was captivated by its serene beauty and peaceful ambiance. The shimmering lake, surrounded by lush greenery, created a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. Families were enjoying picnics, trails buzzed with laughter, and the air felt refreshingly clean. The park’s natural charm and well-maintained spaces made it feel like a hidden gem. It’s a perfect escape from the city, where nature and joy come together effortlessly.

Passion Venture

I visited this place in Early February when the lake was frozen, no activities, the place looked like the one from a thriller hollywood movie. But very adventurous, I saw some campers in camping vans and very very few people almost none, few cars parked here and there but I am sure that this place would be full of life from spring onwards till fall end that's for sure..if you want to go and be with yourself, reorganize your thoughts you can go in winter too..its very peaceful here... check out the videos and photos I posted..

Lake Fairfax is a gem. If you guessed that there is a lake, you are correct, but that’s just the start. There is a very cool water park that is great for kids. There are a bunch of soccer fields, baseball fields, but there is also a cricket field. Not easy to find those around here. A nice little skate park for the little shredders, and a great campground that is very popular in the warmer months. The Fairfax Cross County Connector trail also goes right through the park, anchoring a green network of mountain bike trails. There are plenty of fun rock gardens, roots, twists and turns that make riding here a blast, and there is a very cool jump/flow trail being built very close to the little pump track that I can’t wait to try out.

Reserved a campsite for Friday, Sat, Sunday of Memorial day weekend 2022 with our 27ft camper. Being a holiday weekend the campsites were not mowed in preparation. The pavilions were but for people staying a few days, more care should have been taken given the price per night and the higher end location of the campground. Campsite was extremely uneven and we were not prepared nor was our neighbor, who we loaned a purchased board to. Price for wood was $10 for 5-6logs - wow. Perhaps we are used to more accommodating and reasonable places. I will say that the location is close to everything and that was enjoyable. We didn't get to see everything at the campgrounds or lake but it is a nice area. The poor lots and lack of information ahead of time is the reason for the lower rating.

Crowded but fun. Get there early to get a spot with an umbrella. You can purchase food or bring your own which is a plus. Lots of lifeguards and it seemed they were actually paying attention. The kids loved it.

So much to do here. Our kids grew up at the water park and other park activities,. Mountain biking and walking trails are good. Cross race was well managed.

My most favorite place in Reston. It’s the most convenient park ever. You can just go for a walk or cycling. You can have your birthday parties out here. Barbecue, fishing and much more. ❤️
