Beautiful lake with beach, and amazing sunrise views! Stayed one night heading back to Ontario. Beach volleyball court which was nice. Very basic campsite that could use some updating and some landscaping. Washrooms and showers were across the street that we didn’t use since we had our RV. Couldn’t find any recycling drop off. It did the job for an overnight stay.

Stayed 7/26-27. Had site 14, a tenting site. We had to clean up the site, and clean out the firepit. It had not been done in a very long time. The sites were generally messy , with no one cleaning up after campers leave. The water was nice, very close by. Tons of duck poop. We brought our own shower, and Porta potty. The showers were across the road, a bit far from the tent sites. The village of Harvey is only 10k away, with a few stores and restaurants. Staff was friendly, but you rarely saw them checking out the campground. Was a bit noisy at night. I thought $43 per night was a bit rich for an unserviced site. Still had a great weekend, with fantastic weather.

WHAT A JOKE!!!!! To start we called on Wednesday to book for 2 nights Friday and Saturday, we were told they had several sites available, so we booked. When we got there they had no reservation under our name. The 2 guys there told us they still had sites available and we were welcome to pick one that did not have a tent on it as they were available. We drove in and started to unpack on site 37.Then the guy tells us "oh not that one someone has that booked already". There was broken glass all over the place, the washrooms are disgusting, the property is not maintained at all. We immediately packed up and left, went to another campsite close by and had an amazing weekend thanks to Sunset Campgrounds in Hawkshaw! The service at Lake George is horrible. Nothing is clean or maintained. Guys take pride and clean up the sites!

No impressed with this place in the least bit, the owner is a complete scam artist. Watch out. This mud clown will steal your money and Will kick you out with no bones about it. I'd advise to steer clear of this place.
