Due to unforeseen issue and the weekend after my reservation being sold out further south (on our way back to home in Georgia from Canada), I had no choice but delaying my departure from Quebec area, reserved the site online through the KOA App Sunday evening for Tuesday/Wednesday overnight stop. Called Monday morning to cancel (no answer, office closed, let a voicemail), called around 2:20pm, then asked to cancel due to the above issue, cancellation done but no refund!!! I’ve been KOA member since April 2024 and spent hundreds of dollars throughout their campgrounds around the US, never had an issue at all! For us campers, things happens, and that is why we are RV’ing, to have more freedom than hotel vacation style. This is the type of customer service that will not have me even try another time to this specific KOA, worst customer service ever, even though the lady on the phone was very polite but standing behind, no refund!

Quiet, Cozy, Clean. Close proximity to Lake George with activities in between. Our 2nd time here in the same spot which we will continue to book every time we are here! We had a back in spot, 23ft travel trailer and a F250 crew cab long bed n could park that in front of the camp we with room to spare! Love this campground, we miss it already!

Great little campground run by a husband and wife. Grounds are very clean and maintained. It's right on route 9 so you get a lot of road noise if you have a site right by the pool. Plus most campers travel through your site to get to their cabins even though you're sitting right there. One nice trail to the lake if you like mountain biking. Nothing extreme but good dips and bumps. Fun experience for the whole family. Just remember it's a Journey campground, not a lot of amenities or activities like a Holiday or Diamond Resort, but it's super quiet at night, especially when the road traffic dies down. Just right for a short inexpensive stay to explore the area.

The campground is wonderfully peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool is ideal for unwinding, and there’s a splash area that’s great fun for the little ones. The on-site fishing spot has bass, and the restrooms and showers are clean and well-maintained. Our tent site was generously sized—we fit a 12-person bell tent and a kitchen tent with plenty of room left over for another tent if needed. The water and electricity hookups were conveniently located for our kitchen setup. The shade from the surrounding trees was fantastic, and even when it poured rain for a bit, our site stayed mostly dry. Wi-Fi is adequate for quick emails or looking something up. Nearby activities are plentiful, including white-water rafting, tubing, zip lines, swimming in rivers and lakes, and it’s not too far from Lake George. All in all, this is a great and affordable place for a relaxing vacation, whether you’re here for adventure or just some quiet time outdoors.

Like I said in my KOA post, it is all about the meet and greet in my opinion. Tammi and Dave gave us the most warm and welcoming introduction to their campsite which by the way his family owned. They took it over from another family member five years ago and told us all about the improvements they made. The sites were perfect with full hookups and completely leveled out. The bathrooms were spotless. And Kendra was an absolute doll who even gave us a tour of the cabins they have to offer. Definitely coming back.
