Pretty and peaceful, some walking trails, kayaks for rent and boat tours. Plenty of picnic tables. The biggest oak tree in Florida has its house here.

Just happened to come across this nice park. Had a boat ramp, where you can explore the marshes of "Griffin Lake". They also. have wheelchair-accessible fishing, via a concrete walkway. The park has a playground for kids, and BBQ areas. Very quiet. Did I mention it has 40 campsites, including 7 pull-through sites to accommodate tents, trailersor motorized campers. Bathrooms were very clean. I saw a couple of squirrels, but often seen by others are raccoons, lynx, coyotes and even bears! Enjoy!

Beautiful campsite! Feels like you’re in the jungle. Seemed like most of the campsite were small so not great if you had a big rig. But I’d just call if you have concerns they were really nice. Lots to look at!

It's a nice park. Has the big mammoth oak tree in the park. Camping, kayaking, fishing, a couple small trails. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they'll be temporarily closed for a while now, but it's for renovations. Which right now the camp is super small and packed in tight but it was still nice and there was mostly all good sites. Wouldn't recommend it solely for the trails since there's really only 2 and they aren't very long. But it's a nice place to set up camp and go out on the water and also to see the giant oak!

My husband and I celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary for a weekend and our spot #10 was the perfect size for our 5th wheel and the restroom area was across the way. I like that you need a code to access the restroom. We did a hike and came across a turtle, seen squirrels and lots of lizards. The park entrance staff were pleasant and during the day and night it was peaceful to enjoy the nature around us. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

WOW. Great place. We wanted a place to go for a nice walk and some birding. We had no idea they had a pontoon boat ride. It was 35$ and worth every penny. They circle a bird rookery. It's a very scenic ride. We saw lots of wildlife. I took many pictures. The baby Great White Egret's were the most amazing sight. There were perhaps 60 birds nesting. Anhinga, Great Blue Heron. Little blue Heron, Tri color Heron, Cormorant. We also saw little green Heron, Kite's, multiple duck breeds, sparrows, Terns, Osprey, Ibis, as well as a few Gators, both adult and very young 2ft's, turtles, etc. There are also clean restrooms, an exercise park, many great trails, and one of the biggest live oaks in the country. The pictures I am posting are my phone taking pictures of my Nikon screen since I haven't gotten the pictures off of my camera card yet. So some are grainy. It does show how close we got to the birds.

This is a nice park, except for the fact that it does not have much to do unless you’re going to be boating. It does have the second largest oak tree which takes about 5 min to look at and then a small trail that is over in under an hour. We also did a 1 hour boat tour that was fun, but basically everything you can do here takes about 2 hours tops. Everything was clean, the staff was awesome and the camp sites were nice sized and had good tree coverage. If you plan to stay they day/night here then you will have a fun time, but anything more then a day and you will not have anything to do.
