We made reservations online and arrived at 4:30. The store and office were closed, no late check in information available so we proceeded to our spot. Without a code to BR, laundry or wifi, we waited until the next morning to formally check in and use the facilities available. The email confirmation could have easily included this information. The RV sites are mostly grass, close together, and not level. The bathhouse, laundry and store could use some TLC. $50 a night for electric and water, no sewer, is a high price for what you get. The lake and trees are beautiful, staff is friendly.

It's way out there for us but worth the drive. The park stays clean and the pier is nice and accommodates several people at a time. The employees are nice and prices are reasonable on fishing tackle. Lunch is served every day. The food tastes good and there isn't usually a long wait to be served. Bring something to tie your poles down with bc it does get windy. They hosts different events like Kidfish and fishing tournaments throughout the year with live music on Saturday nights

We know the rules, which is why we had 2 of your lady employees walk the house with us before we left to make sure everything was good . And they told everything looked wonderful and thanks for coming and almost 4 days after we left yall add all these charges never emailing or calling to even say that yall were going to adding these charges and here is why no we had to call yall and when we call yall keep changing the reason as to why yall are trying to charge us , this is all lies why would you allow us to stay for the 4 days if any of this happen why not put us out ? You found a black empty container that (smells of dope yalls words)in a drawer that could have been from the people before us we smoke cigarettes but not in our homes or cars and we had people stay inside the small cabins as well not just dogs , never did anyone stop by to say we were to loud and you could hear many party's there camping smoking and drinking with loud music the ac stopped not from freezing and half the kitten including refrigerator lost power due to yall flipping the breaker to the ac and refrigerator ,knowing we have elderly and including someone who is fighting cancer and left us with out ac and refrigerator for all night and till 2pm the next day ,on another call the employee tried to say we took a metal bar out of toilet and caused it to flood the bathroom and down stairs causing yall to not be able to rent it and now it's cause of smoking . Remind you, our family has come here the last 4 years every year, so if this is how we act or treat the place, why didn't yall banned us from Coming back and / or add the charges any other time . We will definitely contact an attorney and contact the county tax office there to report yall this is unacceptable . Again I hope yall have videos and pictures we do

We had a horrible experience. We rented the brazos house for the weekend. It was filthy, we lost power to the air conditioning overnight with no one to contact to out and look at it. The place was infested with spiders and wasps. Two family members were stung. The cabin reeked of mold. Basic amenities were not met. We would never book there again. Beware!

Let me say, the staff in the store were polite and the scenery is exceptional, this place has boundless potential. We went over Memorial Day weekend, for tent camping. I didn't really feel like it was a family atmosphere, more like a giant lake party. Loud trucks revving their engines, loud partying and yelling, loud music, the smell of weed being smoked everywhere, dogs off lead, well after their established "quite time", it was about 1 am or so before it was "quite". The bathrooms and showers could use a lot of attention. Our site was 30 - 40 feet, through some trees, from the dumpsters which contributed to pests. The site was a bit cramped, the neighboring tenants had their vehicles parked in our site when we arrived. Beware, the firepits, water, and electric are shared between the sites, inconvenient, but it's there and works. In my 20s, this would've been the place to be, just not with the family looking for some quite. Overall, there's little to no enforcement of their own rules and the lack of care taken in the facilities are the biggest concerns. Not saying I would never go back, but it would be a last resort.

We had a fabulous family reunion there last week. Wonderful accommodations for all 27 of us in various lodging options. I stayed at the " Mission House" . Very spacious house, comfortably slept my group of 12. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. Loved the huge common living space. The large deck overlooking the lake was amazing, great place to enjoy the spectacular sunsets with a glass of wine! We had a blast swimming in the lake with the kids and paddling kayaks that were available for rent. There was even a playground for the little ones. This is our second year to go Lake Limestone Resort for our family reunion and I sure hope to go back!
