Lake Mead RV Village at Boulder Beach

Get a lake front site - this is seriously one of the top RV sites we have ever stayed in after more than two years on the road. Beautiful uninterrupted view of Lake Mead and the mountains from every site. RV sites are all a double-wide pad and well spaced out. There are facilities on both sides so you can back in or pull forward depending on your rig. Miles of paved bike paths to explore the surrounding park and short drive to Hoover Dam. There is also a walking / biking trail around the mountain to get to Hoover Dam (used to be an old train line). Absolutely will come back here!!

This is a super place to stay if you can score one of the Lake-View sites. For our Class C, the Lake-View site was a pull-in. The view was so outstanding, we didn't use our windshield cover. The park is laid out on a slope; we saw many older park models behind us, few of them occupied in late October. On Google Maps, Boulder Beach Front Road is depicted as being very close by. The lightly traveled road we saw is much closer to the water; passing cars looked tiny from our vantage point. Ditto the bicyclists on the good-looking paved trail. We had a perfectly level concrete pad. Elsewhere in the park, road and pad maintenance is needed. I've attached a photo of the view from the laundry room. To use this facility, you need to connect to the WASH-Connect app. Small learning curve, but easy once I understood how the numbered machines relate to the numbered images on the app. The app allowed me to add minutes to the drying time. I pre-loaded the app with $15 using a credit card. After two loads, with several additional minutes of dryer time, I had $3.25 left in the account. Using the app, I asked for a refund of the balance and immediately received confirmation that it will be refunded.

We've stayed at this campground several times over the last 15 years and to be honest; the only things we've seen changing over these years is staff and/or management. We reserved lake view, those places are amazing; level, clean and spacious. Don't look any further than that; rest of the spaces are dusty, dirty, not maintained. The restroom/shower area have probably been updated last what the entry code is: 1957. Only one shower available, of which the water was going from cold for only 10 seconds to only almost hot boiling water after that. No private changing area, same old two crappy chairs to sit on for the last 10 years. The other shower cabine was closed off with yellow tape. Good luck with the WiFi; you get access coupons, try reaching the login page first for an hour... Come on people; it's 2025. The only reason for two stars, is the friendly check-in and the view you enjoy when you book lakeview spots.

Lake Mead RV Village was one of our favorite stops on the road. We had a site with an incredible view of the water—waking up to that every morning felt like a dream. It’s peaceful, scenic, and gives you that perfect mix of desert beauty and lakefront relaxation. The staff was a bit of a mix—some were just okay, but a few went out of their way to be especially friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. The grounds were well-kept, and the vibe was relaxed and quiet, which made it easy to unwind. One of the unexpected highlights? Hummingbirds. Everywhere. It added this magical, peaceful energy to our mornings and evenings that made the whole stay even more special. We’d absolutely come back—and honestly, it’s the kind of place we could see ourselves staying for an extended period. If you're looking for lake views, a relaxed atmosphere, and a little wildlife charm, this is a great spot to settle in for a while.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful views. It was super hot there so we just stayed the night. We will be back in a cooler month 😎

Amazing location, we loved it!! Staff super friendly. It was only a short overnight stay but would love to come back for longer! The swim in the lake was so refreshing in the 40 degree heat! Only 1 star less on the review due to lack of privacy in the shower with only a curtain. The restrooms overall though were clean and cool. The site overall was really clean and we loved the concrete pitches that were level. Thank you! 😊

Very well kept nice campground with great views and accessibility to lake mead and the Hoover dam. This campground is more long term, RVs and trailers, and the site next to this is an actual campground with tent campers etc. the campground next to this one also doesn’t have lights at night and has many plants and trees so it’s much more of a nature/wilderness feel. so if you’re looking for more of a camping experience, use the boulder campground, but if you want an equally convenient location but less camping-feeling, this is your place. Friendly staff, and decent space between sites

Thanks to Terrell I got to shower, you sir helped a sister out…especially after a long hike, I needed that! Nice park, meant for big rigs and long term stays. We camped next door, preferred Boulder Beach Campground for ambiance but showers would be appreciated! Nice RV park if you want hookups and need more than 2 weeks!

We loved coming here to relax in our tour of America. We got a lake view spot which was wonderful watching the sun rise and set! Paul, the camp host was beyond helpful and friendly. Donna was friendly and helpful in the office. Great little store.

Complete joke. We arrived and were “escourted” to a site that was part of their mobile home park. We were between two single wides that were both dilapidated and falling apart. The “camp hist” took us there and realized we would be unable to put our slide outs. When I pointed this out to him he said “well you guys figure out how you want t it” and left. The water, dump station and electric were so far apart you could not hook up to all three. We tried calling the camp host to help us and he never called us back. I cannot believe anyone staying here could rate this “$&:/ hole any higher than a zero or one.

Awesome spot to stay! We lived here for about a month and a half in our 40' fifth wheel. Prime location near Vegas and the national park itself provided lots of fun two-tracking in our big truck (among a bunch of other things nearby). We definitely plan on coming back at some point. As with most national park campgrounds, WiFi is spotty (it seemed like we were constantly on the phone with Access Parks customer service) and Verizon had a bit of service but Sprint had none at all. After you leave park boundaries, service shoots right back up to normal. I will echo other reviews that say that there is zero space/privacy (see photos). If we had neighbors that were staying longer than a couple days, we'd swap parking spaces so that we could each have a bit more space next to our patios. If the pull-through sites were transformed into back-in sites (so car parking was next to rig instead of behind) it would be great. I don't understand why some people have issues with permanent park residents. Everything was so nice and clean and quiet. Everyone was extremely friendly. Again, 5-star review because we had an excellent time, we just had no idea how tight it was going to be. Thankfully, we lucked out with great neighbors almost the whole stay!

Nice RV park on Lake Mead. Close to Las Vegas but quiet. Clean, friendly staff, pet friendly, noon checkout. Will be staying again.

For the location and the price they served my needs. Plenty of hot water for showers. The shower facility is very old and not updated, but clean. The staff was friendly. The site was very long and many sewer hookups so that you wouldn't have any issues with that hookup. They have laundry also, which looked nice but I didn't use.

We just happened to take a drive... We are very excited to stay here in a few weeks! The staff is so friendly & the grounds are nicely kept. You can walk to the water or if you drive make sure you're vehicle can handle it.
